  • 2:54 --- note to self:

Do not stand on ledge during knife fight, if ever said knife fight were to occur.

  • Natalie Wood has no expression in this scene for some reason.

  • Cheeken, Jim, you just a little cheeken...

CHEEEEEP, CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP CHEEEEEP! CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

  • Wish I could have one of those suede jackets >.<

  • @J0NAB0NA Jackets? Who wants the jackets. I want the car. :P

  • is that meaning me?!

  • This scene always makes me nervous.

  • @SebastianPSmithe he had a protective vest on underneath but i know what you mean. haha he was more of a harm to himself then his co workers he hust his hand so bad during the secen where he ounched and kicked the desk he had to have his arm wraped up for a whole week so much passion

  • Dennis Hopper in the back there ^_^

  • @KRKahn87 seriously :) I didn't know he was in this film

  • a wonderfool smile.

  • its so sad.. this guy only had 3 or 4 movies..... and he vanished..

  • @123msanchez he made 7 movies. But still very sad

  • @demigrl21 3 im pretty sure there was only 3. Giant, rebel with out a cause and east of eden. i may be wrong but im pretty sure there were 3

  • @ashattack34 Well the first 4 he did were uncredited, so i guess technically it was 3. Pretty sad :(

  • It's amazing how this movie doesn't make any sense until a person go through their high school years. Before H.S. I didn't understand this movie nor care for it, after H.S. I can really relate to Jim Stark. Peer-pressure is a B-TCH.

  • This film is ages before its time

  • I wonder if i could still find that tire iron James Dean threw.

  • @ThrasherOfPuppets oh my god you are a genius

  • ...dad" WHAT !

  • James Dean in my Opinion was the best Actor ever, so sad we never got to see him grow through the years.

  • This was a great movie. James Dean was so handsome.

  • James Dean is so cute.

  • I wonder if anyone else has had flashbacks to fencing class when watching this scene.

  • Judging by the way people had knife fights in the '50s, were broken wrists a common malady then?

  • @15scottie Probably. Hahahaha love your comment man.

  • @MrNewcaledonia Thanks man! I love Jimmy D just as much as the next guy, but if he came at me with a knife like that, I'd've laughed first, 2nd.....snapped his wrist like a twig.

  • @15scottie Yeah, boss... like a TWIG.

HA! I said that with a movie Bronx accent.

  • Classic scene from a classic movie.

  • I'm going to the Griffith Observatory tomorrow and I will stand on the same spot James Dean did.

  • @walmartpimp2 how was it? :D

  • @roockowacko It was cool, but I had no clue which spot this scene took place in so I just covered as much territory as possible, hopefully one of the spots I walked on was the spot James Dean's feet landed.

  • @walmartpimp2 Stood in that spot last week...if you go again, take the stairs that go up the outside of the building. That area is totally open to the public :)
