I moved from Michigan to Florida last year, and we had this same issue on the Michigan ballot in 2004. The supporters in Michigsn told us it would not remove benefits -- guess what? they lied. State Attorney General Michael Cox filed suit the day after the election ballot passed, to remove benefits from thousands of Michigan families. Vote No on 2.

If you are concerned, there are plenty of laws on the books against Gay Marriage in Florida. This issue is meant as a get out the Vote for Religious Conservatives. But it presents yet another attempt at erosion of our Constitutional Rights and will affect everyone. If it happens, it is because it w0uld be approved by those who just don't pay much attention to the issues until they step into the voting booth. We have to get the word out now so people know this could affect all Floridians!
