  • 6:33 haha guwan larry ! :D

  • Bono started losing his hair fast during PopMart.....good thing he got all those hairplugs, or he'd be wearing caps like The Edge

  • Great song at a great time to the band... Wonderful work!

  • They remind me of System Of A Down here, don't know why - maybe an especially sharp social atmosphere?

  • I LoVE this Track!!!!!!! and this performance of it!! Awesome!!!

  • great show..u2, radiohead!

  • A tribute to Jeff Buckley, he died a couple of days before this concert...

  • where did you get this from, and how can i get it?

  • Great performance without the glam of the Pop Mart parafernalia ( it was the first time i saw them even though I've been a fan since "Boy"

I agree Pop is a great album 'the one I can digest is "No line in the horizon"

    I have tried, really ...

  • Amen! POP always get ripped on as a terrible album just because they had the guts to try something different. It's a great album, I too will always love POP.

  • that Jeff Buckley song gives me chills everytime I hear it... unreal.. even the lines bono sings still give me chills.. what a song.

  • U2s songs are of faith, hope and love but what made POP such a fantastic album is that there are songs of faith, hope and love but they come from a much darker place. I will always love POP.

  • one the most best moments in u2's live history...

  • nice tribute to jeff buckley at the end of the song!!!!

  • Leonard Cohen is the original singer.

  • at 5:03 bono rulzz

  • I would preffer this U2...

  • It is the good old day when u2 was not as superficial and ideological as it is now, even when they were performing for such a superficial ideological event. To know something deeper about Tibet, see D. Lopez "prisoners of shangrila"

  • this day time performance makes U2 look like one of these really cool festival bands!! ;) Quite unusual for typical headliners! Pop was such a great album.. and this performance is great, also.. viva U2!

  • Rocking to bring back the 14th century, slave-owning, feudal Theocracy under the Dalai Lama, where 95 % of Tibetans were serfs or slaves.

The Dalai Lama owned 6,000 slaves, 27 estates, and 30 ranches, 600,000 ounces of gold, and 96 Million ounces of silver. I guess he misses his slaves, land, and money back in feudal Tibet.

  • This was such a great period for U2. The 'Pop' album has some of U2's best, most incisive and well realised lyrics. This song handles a very sensitive subject with a mature perspective; not the daft bombast of some renditions of Sunday Bloody Sunday. These days we have to endure the myth that U2 is a band with a messianic complex and no funk in the trunk. This video proves otherwise.

  • I would say Bono looks hot with the short hair, and Please is definetly my favorite from POP

  • thank you for this.

  • To see how bad things are in Tibet please watch

Tibet: A Buddhist Nun Tells Her Story

    /watch?v=mhrgb1PHodU

where 15 teenage nuns were imprisoned, tortured and 14 died. The survivor tells her story in 3 minutes. Other good Tibet videos are in my favourites.

  • I will say this is the greatest track on the POP album

  • grace. what an album by Jeff Buckley. song by Leonard Cohen but Buckley so much more hallelujah-y. some good die young. drowned in the outgoing flood. bono love and live like the band in ingoing sweetness, exaltaion and ecxstatic devotion ato God´s sensual life. So rooted and so fighting for peace. so long you must soing this song. peace. fight. for it !

  • love

  • Love the 'Please' song, off Pop album. Nice video, thanks.

    Free Tibet!

  • enserio que yo no podria decidirme por una cancion favprita de u2... por que lo podrian ser todas y please no es la eexcepcion...

  • I would love to hear Bono cover all of "Hallelujah." That snippet in the lower register of his voice was nice. Thank you for posting this.

  • He did cover it on the Cohen tribute album "Tower of Song"

  • Well he did, and it's great!!! BUT BUT BUT:-)
