I think it's really rude of you all to say he can't be like David. Nobody can be like someone else. Bloody hell... I'm profoundly deaf and I'm not even the tiniest bit offended by this or by people taking the mick out of deaf people. I done very well, I'm in college at the moment and I have lots of hearing friends, I speak very clearly and hear very clearly due to hearing aids but I do have a big problem, people do tend to patronize deaf people by thinking that we're retarded, but that's it really.
