@NumbRarity The principle of proportionality wouldn't allow a any cop to use a level of force, harm or threat to the suspect, that he isn't doing to anyone.

It would be even more wrongful, than shooting a tazer at eg. an old lady attacking the officer with her stick.

However, you could very well argue that the police was allowed to try and ram him..
