Thanks for that video. I have one of these installed and I need the nozzle to pop up higher because I just placed a raised bed planter next to it. Is it easy to replace a part to have it pop up higher, about 12 inches from the ground?
There are a few ways you can go. Rainbird has 6" extension risers that can be added to extend how high the sprinkler will pop up. This is the easiest solution. Or you can buy a 1812 sprinkler head that will pop up 12". A third solution would be to screw a 1/2" x 6" or 1/2" x 12" nipple into the tee and then re-attach the 1804 sprinkler head to the 1/2" riser.
Does anybody know where to get just the white seal piece? I have had many sprinklers where all that is wrong is that piece of white plastic is deteriorated and it doesn't provide a good seal anymore and water then comes through the seal and not out the head.
I don't know any supplier that just sells the wiper seal. You can buy a new 1804 body (under a couple of dollars), spin the internal assembly out of the new body, spin the internal assembly out of the old leaking head, and simply screw the new internal assembly into the old sprinkler body. This saves you from digging up the old head.

@iScaper1 Thanks for much for your reply. I actually went with the third option. The nipple cost me less that a $1 and it was incredibly easy!
