Ok, the course is total bollox! Rallycross died when the X games tried to glorify it, its best days were back when it started back on a winter's Saturday in February 1967 at Lydden Hill in Kent... First ever one was won in a 911, not a fecking fiesta! Back in the day the best rally drivers around were invited to it, these days it has so much potential. @nathanjhuff there's a big difference between saying "a ford fiesta" and saying "a ford fiesta SVT" and I am well aware of the fact that the SVT is ford's sports version of most of their cars. Also 9 months ago (when I made that comment) the Fiesta SVT wasn't in production. Now that it is I'm not sure which is faster the SVT or the STI. If I had to guess it would be the SVT due to the power to weight ratio... but what do I know I'm just a student learning automotive mechanical engineering.

@01Chenti power to weight ratio does have a big factor but thats singlely power to weight, it comes down to physics and the driver. some 1200kg cars at 500hp could beat some drivers at 1350 with 900hp

@allthatstuff35 No, the Group N cars are quite production based and have limited modifications. Some of the Imprezas were Group N. Of course, once you go to WRC and Rallycross spec, expect to see fewer and fewer stock parts. haha :D
