  • I had the same error, here's my solution on a Mac.

    1. Bought Disk Warrior (not cheap $100, but worth it for data recovery) this repaired the catalog and let me copy my files.

    2. Rebuilt the array (Raid 1) but ran into same error.

    3. . Read Lacie's instructions about unmounting the drive from the OS, turn drive off, removing all transfer cables, turn drive back on, and redo raid.

Once I did this all was good. I suspect the mirror got corrupted. On RAID redo remember take out all transfer cables.

  • lol, red and blue....red and blue

  • I have the same problem. Did you manage to solve this problem?

  • I uploaded this video in attempt to communicate with Lacie tech support. While I doubt they ever viewed it, I'm now aware almost 100 others have.

To all following this; the third party pair of drives have not failed, I just can't get to the files in readable form because the Lacie OS that manages the access has failed. Perhaps it failed b/c I tried to run the remote power up application that is available on their web site for later versions of the device.

  • Hi,

Did you manage to get this sorted?
