@julianlee1995 ok well luckily i've tried out all of them. The bose in ear i picked up first and sound quality was good and fit was good but they were so damn heavy and had to watch so they don't fall out. Then i got the beats, heavy and awkward design and sound quality wasn't noticeably better than bose. Then, i picked up the image s4 it took a few days to get used to but, they're so light and beautiful and their tips are much softer and comfortable than the others and sound quality was better.
@darkknight302 ok. You said that the IE2s were heavy? are they really? heavier or lighter than the Tours? sorry for asking so many questions i really like earphones :P

The bose are the heaviest and then tours in second place and image s4 are the lightest. i'd never owned in ear headphones before, and i hated the feel until i got the klipsch headphones. I don't even notice them while working out, and they never fall out.

@julianlee1995 yea, like i said, my biggest issue was weight and they deliver a lot of bass but never stayed in my ear and i even put on the over the ear accessory. Bose lacks details and is just really bass heavy while monster is well balanced all around.

These sound incredible at face value, but there seem to be lots of problems with build quality. I'm just about to get a set of RHA MA-350s instead. Similar price, similar sound but better construction. Check out his review for more info.
@TheXinze You should check out the RHA MA-350, those are about 60 USD shipped and they're solid aluminum with a braided nylon cable. I think Quinn did a review on these too.
To the person who could not fit them in the case, remove that foam interior (it slides out with a bit of effort) and just store the headphones in the naked tin case.
mine broke from the end.not exactly broke but the wire got pulled rom the end pin.I have to adjust the wire now to listen if i a move them a bit the sound goes away.what to do with em?

@the8mileminem I have owned two pairs of these now and I can assure you that these are great for almost every genre rap and hip hop included. These have amazing bass if thats what you're wondering about. A tight bass, not muddy. Since rap is a form of electronic music these are also great because they are so crisp as well, you will discover high parts in you songs you never knew existed. Just don't get Beats by Dre or skullcandies. Please don't get fooled. Get the Klipsch. So much better promise
hey, I have kind of a dumb question, but I just got these headphones and LOVE them, but I can't figure out a good way to fit them inside of the case. any advice?
I just got thes for Christmas today and I had a question. How much burn in do these do these require? Out of the box, the bass was a little overwhelming and there was a hint of glare in the mids and a slight lack of seperation. They didn't sound bad by any means in fact, I was very pleasantly suprised. I was just wondering if a little bit of burn in at a would help some of these aspects of the sound. Thanks!
I just got the S5i's, as my Christmas present, after months of research as to which earbuds I should buy. I was allowed five minutes to test them after my purchase to be sure they weren't going to be a disappointment, well, the real disappointment was having to give them back! I have tried everything from skull candy to Bose and I must say these are the best sounding buds i have ever had the privilege of using. I recommend them to anyone looking into a new set!

@ZR1Terror The Bose are not noise cancelling. If you want noise cancelling then these are going to be your best bet under $100, these or the Soul SL99s.

@kimjb95 Yeah the bass can hit pretty hard if I wanted it to, I use Poweramp on an Android phone and the sound quality is great, if the sound quality is only a little bit better then the Copper's then I'll stick with them, because I am pretty satisfied with my current headphones, I might try them someday, 30 day returns are fun! lol

@samater16 My pair of Sennheiser CX300 just died a week ago, now I ordered the S4's. CX 300 are very good and durable, but I'm not a bass guy, I want crisp mids and highs and it seems the S4's are great for that. Having them delivered in a couple of days =)
@hydroninja9 for a sound quality matter, the shure is the option BUT the durability of the Shure is very low...in some professional reviews, they said the shure doesn't last more than 6-8 months
@EasyCaws depends what kind of music you're listening to, if you're listening RNB, Hip Hop (main street music), go for the Monster. Also Monster has a better durability
BUT overall, the Klipsch has a better quality of sound but less durability.

hello there, i previously owned the monster lil jamz, and they did not stay in my ears very well at all. i believe it was mostly due to the wax in my ear, because i tend to have pretty waxy ears, so i was wondering if you know whether the style of these earphones would stay in my ears better then the lil jamz.

I've noticed that there are two kinds of the S4, one with a straight jack and one with the angled jack (blue and black/gray packaging consecutively). Are there any differences besides the jack?
only thing i hate about these is the shortage that happens with these over time...i had 3 pair of these...of course got the other pair for free cause i sent them in but there perfect...these are the only headphones i will ever wear
@Nerish007 It's better - I've listened to both and own the Klipsch Image X10 earphones. The S4 offers a tighter bass response with better highs. But that's just my opinion.
@bumbleboo44 KLIPSCH IMAGE S4!!! I tried the Bose IE2's and the bass was waaay overpowering. Then again, if you like a LOT of bass, you might prefer the IE2's.

Excellent review. I think I am going to end up getting a pair of these. I currently own a pair of Bose in earphones, which I like, since they do have a better range than the regular iPod earphones. But I have found what you said to be true concerning the Bose earphones. The the base does drown out the higher notes.
@Joshua271987 dude. you can't compare Bose headphones to the crappy iPod earphones. The earphones that come free with your iPod have almost ZERO BASS. :3
The black box contains the cleaning tool and the L shaped headphone jack insert, whereas the blue box, does not contain the cleaning tool, and has a straight insert.. Just to clear that up for everybody.
It seems like your specimen has the 90 degrees skewed jack. I think I noticed that some one had a straight jack. I want one like yours, just because I think this makes it a bit more durable. The S4is and S5is definitely have straight jacks. I want like this. Any tips.

@hydroninja9 for a sound quality matter, the shure is the option BUT the durability of the Shure is very low...in some professional reviews, they said the shure doesn't last more than 6-8 months

@EasyCaws depends what kind of music you're listening to, if you're listening RNB, Hip Hop (main street music), go for the Monster. Also Monster has a better durability
BUT overall, the Klipsch has a better quality of sound but less durability.
You can check the Etymologic hf5, Shure se215 also....

hello there, i previously owned the monster lil jamz, and they did not stay in my ears very well at all. i believe it was mostly due to the wax in my ear, because i tend to have pretty waxy ears, so i was wondering if you know whether the style of these earphones would stay in my ears better then the lil jamz.

I've noticed that there are two kinds of the S4, one with a straight jack and one with the angled jack (blue and black/gray packaging consecutively). Are there any differences besides the jack?

only thing i hate about these is the shortage that happens with these over time...i had 3 pair of these...of course got the other pair for free cause i sent them in but there perfect...these are the only headphones i will ever wear

@Nerish007 It's better - I've listened to both and own the Klipsch Image X10 earphones. The S4 offers a tighter bass response with better highs. But that's just my opinion.

@bumbleboo44 KLIPSCH IMAGE S4!!! I tried the Bose IE2's and the bass was waaay overpowering. Then again, if you like a LOT of bass, you might prefer the IE2's.

would the s4i straight jack be prone to breaking? i use my skullcandies wherever i go constantly , which unfortunately lead to the right headphone going out as the cable being bent so much around the jack, but i do need the controlability of the s4i's to answer calls and adjust volume.in short, would the s4 be more durable?

Excellent review. I think I am going to end up getting a pair of these. I currently own a pair of Bose in earphones, which I like, since they do have a better range than the regular iPod earphones. But I have found what you said to be true concerning the Bose earphones. The the base does drown out the higher notes.

The black box contains the cleaning tool and the L shaped headphone jack insert, whereas the blue box, does not contain the cleaning tool, and has a straight insert.. Just to clear that up for everybody.

It seems like your specimen has the 90 degrees skewed jack. I think I noticed that some one had a straight jack. I want one like yours, just because I think this makes it a bit more durable. The S4is and S5is definitely have straight jacks. I want like this. Any tips.

I admit MonsterCable is not that great with headphones ( thatsnazzyiphoneguy even has a video on how monster is not that great) but the pro golds are pretty good. the klipsch image s4 are very good for the price but overall i think the pros are just a little bit better. dont go all hating
