  • If you have read the book, there is no way you can like this movie. It wasn't hardly even based on the book. They changed so many things, to the point that they missed the whole reason it's even called I Am Legend in the first place. Now, I can understand not being faithful to a book that's several hundred pages long, due to the time constraints of a film, but the book was only 160 pages. They couldn't stay faithful to 160 pages!!!!!!!!!!! Hell, the filmmakers probably didn't even read the book.

  • One last thing... I keep seeing people bashing the film for not being like the book. When has there ever been a film that is EXACTLY like the book it may be based on?... NEVER!

    The reason it's different is b/c they HAD TO modernize it to make it relate to modern times and also b/c the novel it's based on was written in 1954!! Hello!? it's been 53 years by the time this film came out! Respect the film and it's concept for what it is. I Am Legend RULES! 5/5!

  • For God's sake people! STOP hating on this film! The only reason people hated this film is because it deals with religion AND on subtle levels and fate as well. Hollywood HATES movies that deal with religion. Fuck y'all! This film WAS beautiful and it was thought provoking to me. Will SHOULD HAVE gotten an oscar... Abby too! (Samantha, the dog). Critics are shit...

  • I saw I am Legend this afternoon and I'd give ti 4 out of 5 stars. I loved it. I took me by surprise because I expected it to be a fast paced, shoot em' up action flick. I'm glad I was wrong. It was intellegent and well thought out.
