I guess it would be too easy to have the algorithms in understandable form, if they should not be feared. I still fear them, eventhough i translated them to suit my simple mind and succesfully assembled the cube with the enormously helpful videos.

Here are the instructions more undestandable, imho:

U= UL, L= LD, F= FL, R= RU, D= DR

U'=UR, L'=LU, F'=FR, R'=RD, D'=DL

Hopefully someone will agree with me, and find these helpful.

Omfg, i still remember in 2010 i learnt from this video how to solve a rubix cube. And i could solve it in 50secs ! It is good for a beginner isn't it? Than few months later i lost my cube. :( Yesterday i bought one, and i totally forgotten how to solve it... Now its time to learn again brudder!~

I have a question, are the F and U turns backwards? I ask this because in some webcams, the direction your head or finger moves in, is backwards like in a mirror, so are the directions like F and U mirrored?

I can't believe there are still comments of people not understanding it.... His instructions are soooo straight-forward and simple and crystal clear. You people just need to pay atention and maybe pause a lot... but this technique is really simple.

2L is spun counterclockwise, not clockwise. Thus, I think it should be properly labeled "2L'".

although both would have the same effect.

I realized why I was having such a hard time solving the cube from this guys videos... The way he describes 90 degrees is so weird, because 90 degrees can go in anyway... I had to transcribe it, into clockwise or counterclock wise, and it's so much easier to memorize and solve. He makes 90 degrees for left down, for right up, up = right down = left... Makes it more complicated and difficult.

Actually, it should be L2, U2, D2, etc. If you put the 2 first (2L) it is special notation for the 6x6x6 and 7x7x7.
