I am a huge fan of Dr. Chopra and own all his books and listen to him weekly on the radio. I do however have one problem that disturbs me greatly. I have written to him several times to ask if his courses are so expensive does his foundation make an allowance for the poor to participate? All letters have been ignored. This is very disappointing. It is fine to make money on his gift but he should spread the wealth by helping the poor. I don't believe he does this based on the lack of response.

So defensive! Chopra is there to make money, that is why he won't give discounts. His marketing people have told him that people only value what they pay for and he is more than happy to cash in. But, Chopra's 'gift' is not unique. You don't have to pay money to realize it. You will have to invest, time, attention, curiousity and effort. If you wnat Chopra to do it for you, you ought to be ready to pay him. Do it yourself if you have no money.

Nice answer but still unable to address the real question here. You are as greedy and money hungry as he is. Your do it yourself attitude works fine for people with money enough to access books, tapes and computers. Why should the poor however be excluded from the conferences? Have you ever gone to a Chopra conference? With your attitude and ego I think not. You are what we call a "me me". A person who only thinks of himself. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Hey, I am grateful that I can catch him on YouTube and get cheap second hand copies of his books and videos on Amazon. I think he wants us to manifest abundance, first. Why ask someone with a doctorate to teach seminars to first graders? His silence can cause richness if you tap into the right frequency.

You are mistaken. Because a person is poor does not equate to being a first grader. Many of the poor are far more advanced spiritually than people of means. I have no trouble tapping into "his frequency". I just have trouble comprehending his unwillingness to include those less fortunate. (Myself not included)

Dr. Chopra's Organization gets more than a million letters and communications a day so don't get offended. Dr. Chopra isn't the important issue--it's the MESSAGE. YOUTUBE is filled Dr. Chopra's information...it's just as good. Enjoy it.

Nice try but I have written on other occasions and always received a reply. On this question his foundation is clearly dodging the bullet. Makes one wonder how sincere he really is. Perhaps he does not know that this issue has come up. I think if he did he would be man enough to address it. However if his staff are shielding him from questions of importance then shame on him for allowing it.

Thank you for your comment. I wanted to let you know that I am not trying to fake I am Dr Chopra. The video starts out with my name and that I am an instructor. After being a patient of the Dr Chopra and his center I went on to study and become certified by him. This is one of my favorite meditations that helps me.

Merci. we are all born to live in our own right. or would that be light. I would still like to see it put in the proper perspective. or I expected Dr Chopra to speak after watching "the wonder of you" ( I think it was) I see us all at riding the crest of the cosmic potential, with each of us born instilled with all the cosmos is about. I do not feel we need be taught any give, just a chance to let each flower in our own right.

When I focused between the breaths I forgot about the other things on my mind because there wasn't enough time to think about them, I had to catch that next space between the breaths.  That was so easy to do and I feel relaxed now. Thank you!

WOW~ this is awesome. I have always had a hard time meditating and this really seemed to work very well for me. I have trouble with the breathing but concentrating on the space between breaths makes it so much easier for me.
