First of all congratulations on your twins and wonderful videos. I am also pregnant with twins after IVF. I am presently 18 weeks pregnant and I had a cervical clerage done last week because my cevix length went from 3.4 cm at 14 weeks to 2.7 at 17 weeks but the doctor said that it might be showing weaker because one of the babies heads was leaning on it. Did the doctor measure you cervixs...do you remember what it was?
My daughter and are both nurses. My daughter specialty is neo-icu and mine is med-surg. I do alot of patient teaching in diabetes. And I was just wondering how far your levels were from the norm. I did not mean to offend, I am sorry.
Oh no! you didn't offend me, I just didn't understand your question. You asked what's my blood sugar level and as you know it varies so I wa a little confused thats all. So I didnt get offended at all.

I wish that my daughter had documented her journey as you have done. Your videos are so wonderful, insightful honest look at ivf and pregnacy. Grats on passing 30 weeks!!! And do you have the babies room ready? If so can we see it? Do you have everything that you need?
Thanks! The room is almost ready and I will show everyone once it's done. I am almost done shopping for their stuff. Mostly big items like swings and basinets and play yards.
i forgot both sets of twins are completley natural. and it has been 50 and 75 years since there has been twins in our family. good luck. i hope everything goes good.
hey, i like watchin ur videos, i have 2 sets of twins. i just had my second set 3-6-09. and my first set turned 3yrs old on 3-30 all boys. i didnt have any problems with gestational diabetis. i made it to 35.3 wks witth my first set and 37.5 with my second set. they r a handfull, and fun. if ya have any questions feel free to ask.

You look great marcia, just see the gestational diabetes as a temporary phase that you will easily get thru. I have to take the test on Monday, so wish luck as well. I failed every single one of my blood draws too. I knew I was getting to have it also, my moms side.
Girl this diet is SO bland after awhile. LOL
What are you eating?(let me know when you find out) I'm also on 5mg glyburide, and I do the blood testing as well. boo.But the diet has helped, I lost 10 lbs in two weeks, so I've only gained 10 lbs total. Sugar free ice pops even the fudge are great for a sweet treat. LOL
You look beautiful as always, i wanna see the belly :O( But continue eattin good for the boys...i know you be lovin them bake potatoes, but you gotta push it away mama (lol)
its so good your washing their clothes before you let them wear them,so many people dont bother but (even tho its rare) some times you can irritate the babies skin,congrats on week 30 wen i hit week 30 it started flying eve faster!
Hello Marcia i've watched all your pregnancy videos so I felt it was time to leave you a comment...you are 11 weeks ahead of me (althought I have been unfortunanely really sick for most of my pregnancy) nonetheless I am happy to see you are doing well..there isn't anyone around me that is also pregnant so I learn a lot from your videos ....gives me something to look forward to. I'll keep watching as long as you keep posting...PS Baked Potatoes are great...baked sweet potatoes are good too!
30 week mark yay !! the gestational diabetes is something you will get through at least you have insight and a positive attitude about it ,I havnt been tested for it maybe they will next week but i havnt put on any weight so i dunno ,Dont ya love the smell of there freshly washed clothes ! your doing good girl and look beautiful as always ! my fundal height was 37 cms at 27 weeks and i have a scan today at 28 weeks cant wait to see how they are doing anyways look forward to your next vid !!!

GD sucks at 1st but it's not too bad, I had it with my first son who is now 5 and I still follow the diet...lol, but take care.
