Was this an hour or half hour newscast? I have the 12/05/1985 newscast, but its missing the intro and it runs a half hour; I'm not sure if its almost complete or just half the newscast
WTKR here in the Norfolk market had a similar look to this in the late 80s. Both stations were owned by Knight-Ridder at the time; WTKR had a similar set and graphics, and a variation of the theme. Search for "WTKR 1987" and "WTKR 1989" on here, there are some videos.
Also search for WTEN from Albany, NY (also a Knight-Ridder property) ... I've posted a few station IDs from that same time period, and you'll recognize that "Right at Home" jingle. Great stuff!!
She's still sexy. I hadn't seen her in years.

Would like to see more 80's and 90's WPRI and WJAR opening segments, I have to agree with xlogold, WPRI did have better graphics and theme music.

WTKR was actually using the slogan "Discover the Land of the 3" at the time. Klein & did the "Right at Home" and "Discover" campaigns.

I think that's because your state only has room for 30 cars...

I know, last year we ranked the 51st of the 50 states in bad drivers, probably due to Patrick Kennedy

That takes me back. I love Walter Cryan. I can't believe he came out of retirement.
