9 to 1 compression and 20 psi of boost!!?? Here in the states you would need to fill it up at a racetrack or airport! I run lower compression at 14 psi and thats right on the raged edge!

@82raptor the cheapest gas u can buy in germany has 95 oct... so i think he's going for "V-Power" with 100 oct. or more. But gas isn|t cheap here in germany, the cheapest one with 95 oct is 7,5$ per gallon

MPR hate to break it to u I'm a chevy person my self but to say that evos don't pull more than ur chevelle is wrong. There is a evo in Illinois look it up, it's called the ams evo 8, it has over 1400 hp and broke 220 in the Texas mile.

the rpm rate hondas run are high giving them less torque

evos are 2 liters with rubos and are pushin 400hp thats maxed out since those are set to rally racing rules which stretch the limits of 4cyls as it is

You don't have to be a scientist to know that a V-8 could generate more power with a naturally aspirated engine as opposed to a 4 cylinder. Don't generalize the whole population of people driving or racing Honda's as ricers because there is obviously a good amount of import tuners out there. Let the ricers talk who cares? Ricers obviously don't know anything. Talk with your car.

@MPRdrummer See, you're just biased. You assumed I had an import. I have a ws6, by the way. Did you see what you just said? You pretty much generalized civics and ricers as a whole. That's ignorance just so you know. They share many principles, correct, but however these principles used by tuners and ricers are obviously very different because as every car enthusiast knows real tuners know where to put these parts whereas the ricer does not. Wings are there for a reason. If not, then it's rice.

sure add a tubo you get about 70hp and put a chip in it get 20hp and all the little things that dont make a difference because their engines are so small

no torque no hp not a big enough engine
not to mention japan does poor job of centering the engines
us big blocks got torque hp and everything going for them because they are true tuners

So what if tuners try to beef up small engines? That's not what we're talking about here. This Civic obviously got to 500HP. For a 4 cylinder, I think that deserves credit. 500HP civic is not a ricer. Look up the definition of ricer if you think it is. People just have different taste. Muscle, import, or euro.

@MPRdrummer Apparently you haven't seen legit imports go down the track because there are a lot of imports that are tuned up to 1000+ HP that could lift up the front tires such as Titan and WOTM tuned Supras. But what does popping the tires up while going down a drag strip have to do with being a ricer? Dude, look up the word tuner because you don't know anything about tuning. Just because the US have bigger blocks and choose to make bigger engines means that they're tuned better? Okay..?

@MPRdrummer You're also forgetting the fact that drag isn't the only form of racing. People love to attack the corners. This is were the aerodynamics come to place. For real tuners, it is very important to know what kind of body kit and wing to get for the necessary conditions to get a better time. However, a ricer does not. Ricers just slap it on and drive and thinks it affects anything when it doesn't.

they put a wing on the evo for a reason
the vortex spirals wind under the wing giving it down force on low speed and high speed corners so no matter what condition mud rain or snow it doesnt loose much traction
tuner cars arent designed aerodynamically for wings therefore making wings pointless because wind just travels under the giant things

In other words, that "shark tooth" thing you're talking about was made to improve the effects of the wing. Tuner cars aren't designed aerodynamically for wings? It just so happens that the Corvette in the GT2 has a wing and all other cars as well. I'm guessing that tuned Vette isn't affected in an aerodynamic fashion either? use your head.

look at the way the wind flows through the back of a honda or a corvette
corvettes use the wing for fashion yes.
stock corvettes have around 400hp the rear end has a steep window to create downforce with less drag
i know my stuff I studied physics and engineering for a while
long enough to know none of these cars you see with wings are effected by them

Corvette does not use the wing for just fashion in the GT2. That's where stupidity comes into place. The people that engineered and designed the car will vouch for that. You can have a major in physics and still not know the effects of aerodynamics until it's tested.

@MPRdrummer As you can see, the GT2 Corvette also comes with a body kit. That kit relates with the wing and manipulates the air and drag created by the pressure applied as speeds increases. This obviously also decreases the wind pressure while turning at high speeds.

the aerodynamics of the cars body is already compromised enough last thing it needs is a set of lips and wings, if your car has no technology built into the aerodynamics how in thee hell do you expect it to go fast? besides a big engine thats the only other thing that will help

take a old 440 six pack like my dads or my chevelle 572 and youll see real power instead of the new muscle that shouldnt even be called muscle sadly.
since the new muscle is making big engines but saving the most gas. pure stupidity from the designers if you ask me.
