Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates use desalination methods to remove salt from seawater to make it suitable for drinking.
In California and Florida, USA, many towns have begun using dedesalination methods, too.
A. K. Rajvanshi(Florida, University, Gainesville, Fla.)has proposed a large scale scheme to desalinate sea water using solar and wind energy. Economic analysis shows it compares favorably with existing fossil fuel fired desalination plants of equivalent capacity.
Pollution is extremely bad for all life period! -But it isn't the direct cause of global warming!
Over the years Nasa has stated that the other planets are heating up in our solar system! I haven't seen any reporter speak on this issue. Japanese recently reported Planet x in 2008 while Nasa found it in 2003 then later dismissed it. There is a bigger fishy smell out there that meets your noses!
A carbon-tax is not the answer. We are in this mess because big business and government are in bed together. A carbon-tax will just increase an already corrupt government's revenue. What is needed is regulation and enforcement. We need a three strikes rule for polluters. If a corporation is fined for environmental abuses three times they should be stripped of their corporate charter. The company should then be liquidated and the resulting proceeds should go to the affected communities.
we can't. But that doesn't mean you can by saying there's a "God". You honestly don't know. Religion makes the fallacy there's absolutes in this life. There isn't.
We can't reach absolute zero. We can't reach nothingness. Whose to say that's not the biggest eye opener that there isn't absolute evil or truth?
"We Can't". So basically what you are saying is that you and others have thought about it. And the only logical and factual explanation you came to is that we have been created. Because factually "Matter Cannot Create Itself". But you reject that factual conclusion and have promised yourself never to think or reflect on it again. But even though you reject it the fact remains. "Matter Cannot Create Itself. Matter Cannot Bring Itself Into Existence".
"But that doesn't mean you can by saying there is a God". But I can. Because if we have factually concluded "Matter Cannot Create Itself" then we also conclude that "All Matter Has Been Created". Who has created it if matter cannot create itself? A CREATOR. THE CREATOR. Just like Issac Newton I don't believe in dogmatic religions. Some fairy tale Man-God or statue. But just like Issac Newton we cannot reject facts. The facts are we have been created. All the facts cleary point to it.
the fact that matter cannot create itself is not evidence of a god. Its evidence that the human race has yet to begin to understand the universe we reside in.
Brother. The fact "that matter cannot create itself"....is clear evidence "that all matter was created"! You atheists pride yourself on science and logic. Yet whenever we ask you to explain the above all your arguments are shattered. Nonetheless, you stubbornly reject the fact that all matter in the universe was created because you refuse to believe that you (the human/creation) are not the most intelligent beings in the universe and that there is a supreme intelligence. A creator.
The reason why you clearly reject these facts and try not to reflect on them is because you pride yourself on the advancements made in technology and other fields. And so you refuse to want to accept the fact you and everything in the universe were created by a creator of an intelligence far greater than yours. You refuse to want to accept the fact...Because you and most atheists are suffering from a GOD COMPLEX
while you suffer from a God delusion. What religious people don't understand the implications of saying that god created everything. Science is suggesting that matter cannot create itself.
So thus it begs the question what did? No one has the answer. Yet you trumpet your answer because you know and you've known for awhile. GOD. And we just need to get with the program...
We'll I'm sorry but there isn't even a clear definition of god to even make it sort of make sense.
Oh yes. The best explanation the atheist has to provide for the creation of the universe is the Big Bang "THEORY". If we were to believe that to be true then with that logic if I strap DYNAMITE to a Tree I should be able to produce a nice table after the explosion. I am deluded? No Habibi. You 'the atheist' are.
actually you should look into strings theory, and you shouldn't knock science. Because most scientist aren't atheist. Most scientist use mathematics, and testing to prove and disprove their theories, and theories always change. Unlike religion doctrine which stays static for thousands of years.
But science does not and can never provide all the answers. Because the human intellect is limited. Science cannot explain something as simple as why we dream? Freud - who is acclaimed authority on the subject - theorized that wishes repressed during wakefulness, particularly those associated with sex and hostility, were released in dreams. Basically that dreams were based on past experiences.
The 'theory' sounds perfect and logical. Dreams are based on our past experiences. But how can he explain what has happened if you are to have a dream tonight in which you have a car accident with a red car. The next morning you wake up and are on your way to work. When you have a car accident with a red car. Countless numbers of people have had such experiences. And as result the 'theory' falls apart.
"You are saying your religion (Islam) has the answer. When it doesn't." - Thats a bold statement since I a am pretty sure you know very little of Islam.
In that case...Besides our Monotheistic Belief in the Creator of the Heavens and the Eart and all that exists...What is it that you do you not like about Islam?
The solution for this calamity is to decrease the worlds population from six billion to six hundred million. Perhaps the pollution generated from these corporations will help wipe out at the very least half the worlds population. We can only hope the environment will accommodate the planet by killing off most of the human species and then bring the planet back to where it was four hundred years ago, when it was 545 million.
Who knew Ted Turner was on Youtube? Hey Ted, maybe if the top 1% wealthiest had their accumulation-disease cured and we started producing for human need rather than profit, while restoring reproductive control to women, no one would have to die. Had you thought of that? Or do you only like to fantasize about mass death?
lol, producing for human need. To produce for six billion people would rape the planet Earth even more. Increase productivity would increase the need for oil, water, food and other natural resources, which would increase pollution levels of which the world could not handle. Watch the video again.
Okay, I did. I'm thinking the vid is about the destruction coming from producing for profits and manufactured human WANTS (in the first world). Producing for human NEED would, naturally, include using less natural resources. I mean, how many broadcasting networks could one person own?
Reactionary08 is absolutely correct. You talk of not enough production for mankind. That is a lie. Drive through the rural areas of France and Italy. You would see miles of fertile land are used to produce Wine. Miles of Fertile land that could be used to grow numerous other produce.

There is No God. You are right. There is absolutely nothing that deserves to worshiped in the heavens or on earth. Except its Creator!
How can you explain the scientific FACT that 'MATTER CANNOT CREATE ITSELF". Eagerly awaiting your logical explanation?

falls apart? it just hasn't come along far enough to explain that. No one with great certainty or accuracy can say what that phenomenon is.
Its why no one knows.
