  • So simple, and yet, the thought to ask others never occurred to me :P lol

  • Come on folks, lets rid the world of this bullshit, and these idiots with their messiah complexes.

This bullshit really has been allowed to go on much too long now. Do you really need this chomp to tell ya how to live ??? really ???.

  • @Pikesterful You give anyone a 4K income a month and they can make a decent person out of themselves without these psychotic preachers.

  • @Pikesterful This is for christian. what are ur business in here, just dont watch it, watch everything else. :/

  • @swtsusabgts3 - Well for a start, you god delusional freak, I watch what i like, and if i watch something on here which i find inredibly rediculous then i have the freedom of speech to say its rediculous, just like you have the freedom to send pointless posts personally to someone you dont even know, to tell them not to watch it. Your missing the point, then again, its people like yourself who are my point!! lol

  • @Pikesterful well.. I feel that God always be with me, whatever situation that I have, His plan is beautiful in my life, every sadness and happiness like a puzzle that make one big beautiful painting.. I am already prove that God is real.. I feel His love in my life, Jesus loves me so much.. I am so happy, He is the greatest, loves me so much, my life is complete, in my and His own way..I am so sorry you dont feel that way.. I will pray for you.. GBU :D

  • @LycaonsBane how else can the words be taken? obviously he didnt say that their definitions were the same, but that in a court of Law (being God's judgement) they would be treated equally. viewing pornography, then, in regards to the Law is equal to adultery. i apologize if what i said seemed that i thought they had the same definition

  • @LycaonsBane The words i quoted came from the Son of God's mouth. if you dont believe in Jesus, then what i say doesnt matter to you. if you do, then listen to Him.

  • @ccbean0462 - oh dear, you've definitely gone past the point of no return havent you!

  • @ccbean0462 - you know, the point of no return, that point where its longer to come back than it is to keep going lol

  • fuckin hell, you mean to tell me you need this twat to guide you through how to put your socks on and how to eat ya breakfast or take a shit, get a fuckin life,....twats

  • @Pikesterful isn't it funny how you can twist religion to make it mean anything you want it to? Nobody knows how ready you are like you yourself do.

  • @rocaho001 - I know chap, its pathetic how these idiots will still argue with ya until their blue in the face, even in this day and age, when we have a million and more facts/evidence to support evoltiuon. The sad thing about this, is that these folk are turning to this guy for advice and guidence on stuff like we have seen suchb as this, yet, he's only in his late 20's here ,..surely he's not as wise and confident as that/. its absurd to think people still live in dark ages

  • @Pikesterful Religion is just another drug for those who can't find enough self governance in themselves.

  • @rocaho001 What ignorance are you spouting? With Christians, God governs them and they govern themselves also, but under a holy book.

  • @windstand - oh dear,...it seems we have yet another one for the pod here, and yes, they have a messiah complex,...i see a reoccurring pattern here!!

  • this is ridiculous

  • DATING IS FOR THE WEAK!

  • if this guy is going to heaven then I'd rather end up in hell!

  • @marcohorowitz8 Heh. I'd like to hang out with pastor Mark. Love the guy.

  • @marcohorowitz8 I don't get it. Why go to that extreme?

  • @Midnight08 I'll give you that, but the people who don't ask who should are the people who don't care about their own well being.

  • Here's a good indicator: If the question includes the words "Am I Ready to..." and you have to ask, you usually aren't.

  • Pornography is another sinful addiction. MATTHEW 5.27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell."

  • @Rekinava Yes as an addiction it is negative. However not everyone who looks at porn is addicted to it. What of those people?

  • @NightHawkBomber001 Not everyone who smokes is addicted to nicotine but that doesn't mean they should keep smoking. The more they smoke the more they increase their chances of being addicted to something that never did them any good in the first place. I think porn is disrespectful in that it causes someone to look at another person in an impure way and with impure thoughts, & as the saying goes watch your thoughts because they become actions.

  • @Rekinava True, but smoking (be it an addiction or casual thing) has proven negative side effects. And unless I am mistaken pornography has not. Personally I don’t view porn, as sex is something I think should be between two people and no one else, but some people are fine with it, even in relationships some partners enjoy it together. We’re I wouldn’t do these things who are we to call something impure and put negative implications on it unless you can come up with a valid reason to?

  • @NightHawkBomber001 One valid reason is that i think viewing porn weakens ones defences against lust. For example if someone who has been viewing porn habitually was tempted to have an affair, i reckon they would be more likely to commit adultery because they have already indulged in lust regularly by viewing porn. 1 Corinthians 10.23: All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. (NKJV)

  • @Rekinava That would apply to some, but not all people who view porn. Your argument has similar qualities to those that demand to lessen the violence in video games as it desensitizes its viewers and makes them more likely to engage in crime. While this is true in some cases, it does not define the whole. Sure There will be people who are negatively affected by these games, there will be those who refuse to play them out of fear or principle, and there will be those who can play them without --

  • @Rekinava the negative effects. How then do we solve this issue? Do we get rid of these games? The current practice it to let parents decide weather their kids should play them or not and when the child is old enough to make his or her own decisions they can. If they make a mistake they will be faced with a consequence. It is similar for porn. Some will be negatively effected by it, some will avoid it, and others will have no issue, in fact they could even use it in relationships.

  • @Rekinava Like the gaming, there are consequences for adultery. I would put forth the notion that there ought to be a better way to control porn and make it less accessible to minors. but ultimately your argument assumes an those who watch it have addictive personalities and a lack of control. I know some people who watch porn by themselves and/or together in relationships and have no issues. I also know those who stop watching it in relationships out of respect.

  • @Rekinava I don’t like the industry myself, and when I have children of my own I’m going to make it damed hard for them to see any. but I still have yet to see a reason that displays porn as bad in all circumstances. Watching porn and cheating in a relationship is a rather big jump, just like playing a violent game and going out to harm someone for fun is a rather big one to.

  • @NightHawkBomber001 @NightHawkBomber001 It may seem like a big jump but in reality it is much easier to have an affair when you've already had one in your mind by watching porn. I'm not trying to judge people who watch porn but speak for their benefit, so they're not tempted more strongly to sin. Sure not all people become addicted, but the same can be said for cigarettes. Does that mean cigarettes should still be acceptable? Even though many do die from illness resulting from smoking....

  • @Rekinava Is watching porn an affair? I wouldn't say so. Does porn have a potential to lead to something detrimental, sure but so does driving cars. And the comparison between smoking and porn is again a poor one. Cigarets have been proven to have perverse health effects porn has not.

  • @NightHawkBomber001 Porn like smoking does not only affect the user. If someone did have an affair it would affect their whole family. Another thing is it's true that some people don't have addictive personalities. I still would say it's best for them not to view it. 1 Corinthians 10:19 Do I mean then that food sacrificed to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything? 20 No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with ...

  • @NightHawkBomber001 demons. 21You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.22Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy? Are we stronger than he? This verse's interesting because even though he says idols are nothing, he also says that you cannot drink the cup of the lord & of demons too.So if we know that evil does use the viewing of porn in some to work for evil (ex. having affairs) why befriend it?

  • @Rekinava To be clear, I don’t view porn, I don’t watch porn. My girlfriend probably wouldn’t be all to happy if I did. Regardless, for people who do watch it, and yet maintain healthy relationships I don’t see the issue.

  • @NightHawkBomber001 woah, woah, woah...i didnt feel like going through all of the messages in this thread, but has no one ever read the sermon given by Jesus? Porn is not entertaining in the same sense that the terminator or saving private ryan. You watch porn to lust, and lust IS adultery. "I tell you, if any of you looks upon a woman with lust in his heart, you have committed adultery." End of story, watching porn is a sin!

  • @NightHawkBomber001 1Corinthians10.24 No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.... 27If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience.28 But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, both for the sake of the one who told you and for the sake of conscience.29I am referring to the other person’s conscience, not yours. For why is my freedom being judged by ...

  • @NightHawkBomber001 another’s conscience? ...32 Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God— 33 even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.

This verse's also interesting. Paul says that even if our conscience is not personally affected by eating food sacrificed to idols, we should still refrain for the sake of others. This can be applied to porn as even if it were true that some..

  • @NightHawkBomber001 are not affected by watching the stuff, they should still refrain from doing so for the sake of others, who for example do have addictive personalities & will be encouraged to watch porn if they see someone they know watching it. So on closer examination it becomes clear that viewing porn affects many more people than just the user.

Please read posts in reverse thanks

  • Porn is amazing! Love the stuff

  • @pbruce I agree 64 other ppl like porn 2 !

  • on point

  • Well all I know is no one in the bible was truly ready for the task God entrusted to them...

  • @justin9399

Is dating not part of life? Is Jesus not in control of your life? Please explain.

  • I have a fairly big problem with what he says.

He keeps refering to all of these "good friends" "good parents" as godly also.

There are good people who aren't religious.

I thought that the only thing different about this man is that he doesn't teach the "good people vs bad people" crap.

    But I guess he does.

  • I would argue that wise people tend to be non-christian, giving that christians believe in invisible things that they can't see, a trait usually possessed by 6 year olds.

  • Lots of lovely questions.

    Now,

love, no, they are not on par with a 6 year old.

there is physical evidence of the emotion love, there is brain activity that can be measured when a person has such strong emotion.

Experiencing pain when hearing extremely bad news, no they are not on par with a 6 year old.

Again this is another physical response that leaves behind biological evidence and which can be fairly easily understood.

  • Medical conditions that doctors can't explain, no they are not on par with a 6 year old.

I'm not sure to what exactly you refer but science is nowhere near it's peak and doctors are still discovering cures for previously uncurable diseases.

It seems the only childish and ridiculous thing that still exists in society is you and your religious mob of idiots.

Who childishly and blindly believe in something, being shown no proof, and hand over your money those who as for it.

    Got any evidence?

  • uhuh.

    That's quite a crappy quote.

Once again however, you show me no evidence.

Perhaps at some point in the future we will discover the truth about creation, but I still disagree with religion.

That's the whole problem with it, it gives easy answers to questions that aren't easy.

  • It's founded on an easy answer.

    WHY ARE WE HERE?

    - Well a big man invented us for fun.

Also, my argument against god is simple, look around you, starvation, war, death, famine, africa, racism and child abuse. Just some of the massive flaws in this world that cause suffering to people.

Isn't your god meant to be loving?

  • As I said in my other reply, I agree. :) True Christianity is not like that, and those who have made it that way will answer for it.

  • @TheJohnDoran Well Hitler's murdering the Jews was out of sinful reasons while God used his people (Israel) to carry out his judgement. You all complain about what God did in the past and don't realize that God is still doing the same thing today, God "gives life" and God "takes life away" even today, and God will send those who didn't believe in Christ to Hell because their sins haven't been atoned for and God cannot deal with sin... Just like he did in the Old Testament.

  • @TheJohnDoran You act as though those who were killed were innocent. Whether God used his nation to judge them or not, they still would be judged and sent into Hell because they deserve. Heck, EVEN US Christians deserve the same exact punishment, because we "all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God" and we all are sinful. But praises be to God that he sent his holy Son to take the punishment in the place of sinners such as myself so that we could reap the benefits of Christ Jesus!

  • I agree with you. I am a Christian and I am not proud of what has been done in the name of Christ. It makes me sick that someone who claims to love and follow Christ would do something so horrific and by doing it, marr the name of God.

I am deeply sorry if this has turned you off of Christianity, but I can assure you, a REAL Christian would not be like that. Fond a TRUE Christian, watch them, see if they are different. I hope you find truth.

    In Him,

    Aaron

  • Yes He is. But He is also just, His love and His justice work together but that does not mean that love will drown justice. He has given us free will as an act of love, we abused it and so He has to be just. That may sound harsh but His love again offers us a way out of the condemnation, A God who can do that, wow, He's a God I want to serve.

  • get a life you looser

  • hey james it's jenna, lol guess we stumble across the same videos... anyway, as a christian friend I hope you won't mind me suggesting that flaming people isn't the best way to glorify God?

  • its true... I'd forgotton all about this. haha

  • You don't have a driver's license, do you?

  • In the cases of a sinful man do you not understand we are all sinful and we all have struggles? The simple fact that he has admitted to his faults is better than hiding them. When you are a pastor and the people that carry out the things you can't do you need staff with the same agenda as you otherwise nothing will ahppen.

  • Unfortunately it will not be intellect (or lack thereof) that will save you, it will be the power of Jesus Christ by grace through faith.

All the arguing, reasoning and superfluous speech in the world will not change that.

Let God be true and every man a LIAR!

  • "The purpose of dating is to get laid."-Tom Leykis.

The purpose of dating is what Leykis says it is; dating has nothing to do with Jesus.

  • What you said:

"The purpose of dating is what Leykis says it is"

    What Your Creator says:

But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; Eph 5:3

    What you said:

"dating has nothing to do with Jesus"

    What Jesus says:

"Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." 1 Cor 10:31

"Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father." Col 3:17

  • It is the Christian's joy (the greatest joy!) to give glory to God by submitting their lives to him and by being discerning, knowing that every decision, every act, every thought either brings them closer to the God they love, or takes them further from Him, to their misery.

  • Why did you write that entire paragraph when you could have used one word: "masochism,"?

  • There's nothing immoral nor anything impure about copulation, and copulation can relieve that perpetual erection and bring great pleasure even if one doesn't even believe in Jesus.

  • John, if you don't mind me asking, are you a Christian?

  • I'm sorry, but I must reluctantly decline to answer such a personal question, one whose answer, be it either affirmative or negatory, may be used to dismiss my words without giving them logical consideration.

  • johnholmes is a over verbating pagan who is not full of the holy ghost but, full of circular arguments. he preys on weak christian women in comunity churches like this one with weak insipid doctrine. this man needs to die than to touch one of our women

  • Such are the ad hominem fallacies I wished to eschew in declining to answer the last question.

  • I'm asking for a reason, John. If you aren't a Christian, then fine, go have all the sex you want and go look at all the porn you want, or whatever, but why waste your time arguing with us silly Christians? If you are, then you would I would say that you are obligated to believe that sex is only for heterosexual marriage, as Scripture says.

  • This is RAIDERJO

Well, in response the the first part of your comment, why don't we attempt to read things in context? Do you think that would be a good idea?

JohnHolmes, since the Bible was written in such a different culture, how should we choose what to take from it and what to leave out? Should we just keep the parts we like and ignore the other parts?

  • Firstly, it is God himself who references the unicorn, and he does so to Job as an example in nature of what He is saying. God clearly commands the Israelites to make animal offerings to him; read the Torah. And the Israelites did kill a man for icking up sticks on the Sabbath. I must go now; I'll answer your other question later.

  • I know, I've read the Torah, and I've read Job, and I know the passages you're referring to. Still, wouldn't it be nice if we read verses in context instead of drawing ignorant conclusions?

Anyways, that doesn't have anything to do with what I'm trying to say. It all depends on how you look at the Bible. You obviously don't consider it to be authoritative, so you're going to come to different conclusions that I do. It all depends on your view of the Bible.

  • Yes, one should always read in context, but if you are insinuating that I have failed to do so, I insist that I have indeed not failed.

How one looks at the Bible does determine the conclusions one draws from it, but only to a degree: no sane man, wether or not he thinks the Scripture authoritative, will interpret "God said, Let there be light" as meaning that string cheese is tasty.

  • You claim that you are understanding the contexts of the passages of Scripture you referenced; can you explain what exactly that context is?

Obviously, we cannot interpret Genesis 1 as meaning that string cheese is tasty (which it is, by the way), but you're not seeing my point. The fact is, our disagreement is based on our different approaches to Scripture. Whether you look at Scripture as authoritative or not can make all the difference in the world.

  • Cause it is fun

  • @RAIDERJO76 What i wanna know is where does fucking sheep fit into all of this sin or not a sin?

  • @mcownageburger

    I Cor 10:23

All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable.

meaning if it is not illegal then it is open to me BUT there is a proper time for it. A time when this thing/activity will be best used and enjoyed. And for the building up of my faith and relationship to God. ANYTHING that would take away from my relationship and enjoyment of God is to be cut away and is not profitable.
