Quintisential moments are memories of something so moving & profound we never forget where we were. I was driving to work in the pre-dawn darkness on a narrow county road when the radio told me Conway was gone. I was devastated. I called one of my best friends a while after & we were talking about Conway. She told me there were people making fun of his death, the dirty dastards. I'd been so sad, I hadn't noticed. It's wrong to mock the departed & more so when their death leaves the world darker.

I was blessed to have a father that loved country music, his favorite being a man named Herold Jenkins.I'm not a country fan as much as a music fan, I love Rod Stewart, Air Supply, and Pink Floyd as well as Conway. Conway Twitty is right there, amoungst the giants. My father died the same year as Conway - 1993. We have an obligation to keep Conway's music alive. Radio and the country video stations have forsaken him. I love Conway, I will do my best to make sure he is never forgotten! Will you?
