I live in Florala, and have several friends in Oak Tree Hunting Club just sout of Burnt House and Last Chance. There's alot of good deer in those woods up 331 North. I can't afford $1,200 a year, so I just hunt on Blue Springs Management Area when they have their dog hunts. Glad to see someone in Alabama is taking the time to not only take kids hunting, but also film them and put it on Youtube. Can't wait till my little one gets old enough. @XnoubX 1)You don't really, sometimes with experience you can tell by how the dogs are barking, but you never really know, You have to be ready at all times, the deer can be from 10ft to miles ahead, most times a big buck will slip out before the dogs even start running good.
2) No, not these days, we have high dollar tracking systems that enable us to keep up with the hounds up to a 7 mile radius. But before these systems came out you would loose a few every now and then.

@loves2hunt1995 ya we border 1400 shoot we did terrible this year like 23 and like 70 misses and idk if u kno him but jimmy bragg got president so we left and went to pinecone which is across clubhouse road from buckhorn and they killed 108 and 145 misses
if i lived there longer we were going to join pinecone but my dad is in the marines and got orders...... last year cane acere killed probley 60 or so but with 10 doghunters thats not bad..... we dident join a club this year cuz we were moving but we dog hunted with cane arce a couple of times and they dident have a great season eather. But out there with onley 6 doghunters you will be put on a good stand almost always and they got some big deer. how much does pincone fee cost

Wow. there is some goooood dogs out there.... Greg the president runs fox dogs and has some prized dogs. I wana say that cane acre is 7,000 acers 2 but some got loged . they got the best group of dogs i have ever seen. its amazing what some of them can do.... the fee was 1200.... idk why they would let them out most had locks on the cages. but not a single rode runner and you would have to cech them off a deer or they would run for the hole day do you know how many they dident find. that has to

1)how do you know where the deer are in front of the dogs?
2)do you lose alot of dogs while running the deer?
