it is not originality problem. China can design but the world is biased . no one will pay for a chinese brand or design .UAV for military is designed to kill. An American one costs millions of dollars . China can make quite a few of them for the same money. Anyone can make a nice UAV for the amount the US spend on one. Last I checked it is like 10 million dollars of ONE. You call that advanced? It is tax robbing

People are getting to wrong idea here. China is a developing power so they may be a force in the future although anyone who is suggeting that their technology is superior to the Wests only needs to look at the fact that Chain doesn't have a single brand. Things like Intel, Ford, Rolls Royce etc. At the moment, all the tech is developed in the West. The key to China is for them to develop their own quality brands.

@29Gixxer old point is old. you think they don't know that? The thing is, you can't start a new brand, sell quality products at the same price levels as other established brands. People will always buy nike's shit even if it costs 50% more than the same thing from a new chinese company. New players just don't start by going after the high-end markets. On the other hand, India has been busy pushing their own brands, but look how far they've gotten with that approach.

All China does is copy others alhough like you say...are not able to replicate the technology/build quality so they produce more of them to try and compensate. Regardless of what we think about the quality of China's products...they are able to build things quicker and cheaper than the West. Quality will always beat quantity tho. I don't think I have ever seen a single unique Chinese design lol.

We have never heard of these because China is quite secretive. I was mainly referring to the Chinese Jet fleet (which is mostly taken from Soviet designs). Still...UAV tech is the way forward and it looks as though many are developing these.

The only issue with China is that it has to resource a huge ground force (due to the size of it's borders) thus taking money away from R&D. Well..that or have a crap army lol

The huge difference was that Germany were being attacked from all fronts and from multiple countries mate. China is not going to stand much of a Chance against NATO combined as I believe NATO has more of everything anyway (forgetting the tech edge).

this is a prototype F117-rebuild from the Original F117 compounds which were shipped from Serbia to Russia and China and few other Countries. you know that F117 went to Russia first and left overs such as the airframe, and important stealth compounds went to china for research and development this what you see is a real prototype in model stages.
