One starry moment, is all we wait for. All we ever really look to fate for. It never happens as planned some starry night someone touches your hand. And that starry moment, the world starts glowing and your aimless heart knows where it's going Where is that moment we all dream of? That one starry moment of love.
@SS4Xanatos Doesn't she sing the song again towards the end of the movie or is that a duet? I just realized there's a violin solo at the end of the song. I think I need to write it down on sheet music. Do you have the soundtrack by the way?
@jonnyboy383 No I do not have the soundtrack to the movie. In one of my other comments I ask if someone knows where to find it. Yes she does sing this song again with Gene Kelly as a duet but it keeps getting interrupted by the mice. If you can find the sheet music for it either for violin or preferably for piano please let me know! I have been searching for it ever since I first heard this song years ago.
Serena's singing is performed by Marni Nixon who also did the singing for Maria in "West Side Story", Anna in "The King & I", and Eliza in "My Fair Lady".
Jack Cassidy, who played Lurch in "The Addams Family", voices the giant.
Are you sure? I listened to it again and it makes more sense if you say "And at that starry moment the world starts slowing and your aimless heart knows where it's going". That also makes more verbal sense. What you're suggesting does not make grammatical sense.
Are there any more Hanna-Barbera films or specials that combine animation and live-action?

this is wonderful thank you for sharing this love it
MrNorriscarr 4 months ago in playlist Jack and the Beanstalk starring Gene Kelly
Jack hates girls? He must be ironically ignoring the fact that the harp is female, too. Am I missing the point or something?

"Is that a fortune?"
"I'd say so."
"Where's the fame that goes with it?"
"If you could get away with any of that fortune, I guarantee you will be famous."
LOL! I love Gene Kelly!

"Kiss Me."
"Kiss you?"
"That's the charm to break the spell, a kiss."
"Well, considering it's for a good cause..."
LOL I love that part. The song Serena sings is really beautiful too.

Jack Cassidy also sang "Grim Grinning Ghosts" for the ride, The Haunted Mansion.
Hewylewis 3 years ago
No, that would be Thurl Ravenscroft on Haunted Mansion, who voiced Tony Tiger ("They're grrrrreat!") and sung "Mr. Grinch". :P
Jal8919536 3 years ago
You sure? They sound exactly alike.

I meant Ted Cassidy. :P

What is the harp saying from 5:24 to 5:34? I can understand the rest of the song. I've been searching for the lyrics to this song to no avail.

sorry that post was meant for you, SS4 - the lyrics are "and that starry moment of words start flowing and your aimless heart knows where it's going"
