Hey Dave that's really good advice on tattoos. some of my tattoos are horror or comic book related tatts sounds stupid I know but they reflect what I grew up with and the kind of person I am, I don't regret any of the tattoos I had these last 10 years but it did make my mom go mad when I first got tattooed when I turned 18 back in 2002

I've been thinking about getting a suit of armor on my inner left forearm. This tattoo for me would represent, honor, loyalty, respect, and willing to die for your believes. I cannot wait to get it done I have a set artist who has done 3 tattoos for me already and all very nice quality. Great advice with the waiting 3 months, I decided when I was about 12 years old that I wanted a tattoo. I finally got it when I turned 16 (I'm now 21).

@LeviDeanCuevas Well my advice on color is the same as black. Spend what it takes to get someone who has shown proof that they are truly good. I have color on my upper arms, which tend not to show in the videos much. The rest is black. It's just part of the overall theme which I went with. Strictly a choice thing.

Hair, is another choice. It's down to what you feel looks best.

I used the rule for about the first ten years. After covering much of myself I had more of a plan of what I wanted so waiting wasn't as important as it would be for someone just starting out who doesn't really know what they want so much as they know they want something.

Some were also done in large groups or chosen at the same time. Still, I have waited as long as years to get some of them.

To me, it's all about meaning. I once saw a guy with an Alien tatooed on his back. Even though the drawing itself is well made it looks disgusting. Myself, I found a GREAT artist, the guy tattoed a really complicated norse symbol for jormungand, the world serpent on my girlfriends back and it looks great :D:D. The symbol itself has immense sentimental meaning to her. It was originally on a brooche that was stolen by some asshole, whom I failed to find and torture to death :/

My tattoo is a shark which is my families symbol. Our Hawaiian tribe was a warrior tribe, hence, shark. I throw my hawaiian name in some random lettering under it and had my buddy put it on my leg.
