  • In my background in large city in American midwest, we would use casket seemed less creepy than coffin. We grew up with friendlier version of "boondocks" "boonies", and later "Bum F*ck Egypt" "BFE" "Where Christ lost his shoes" all indicated far off the path rural areas. Sorry for your death and not being able to be close for family and friends. Bryce sounds like a great guy and positive to the end is inspiring.

  • I'm sorry to hear about Bryce. :( You're right about technology; long ago, when a person moved away, it was almost like a death, because it would be difficult or impossible to keep in touch. Now we can communicate very quickly, even across long distances, which is a comfort.

    If you feel like taking a day off from tdes, I'm sure everyone will understand!
