  • This pedal seem to be a Full Drive with an added boost but half the price tag.

  • @martinisbutik Actually it's more expensive than the Fulldrive.

  • WOW! I was looking for a pedal to play Pearl Jam and you tested with GO!

  • Pretty sure I heard "Go" at the beginning. Awesome:)

  • what's the song andy is playing at 2:55 ?

    Thanks

  • @Chus666

Buzzcocks "Ever fallen in love with someone"

  • you dont need the S-1 "on" to have the "full" humbucker sound or am i missing something here andy???

  • This particular Strat was a HSS so the S-1 gives a coil cut to the humbucker. If you have 3 singles, the S-1 gives you more wiring variations.

  • i really love this pedal, i think ill buy it! :) thanks for the demo.

  • Andy, you are incredible

if u could pick 1 overdrive 1 distortion and 1 fuzz what would they be??

  • "Round & Round" - Aerosmith!

  • Stone Cold Bush! Nice. Great tone for it too!

  • Overdrive pedal comparison video please!

  • Andy... you've nailed Pearl Jam's "Go" riffs perfectly...

Hail 90's alternative rocks and classic rocks!

  • Why does everything have to be about the tubescreamer?

  • simply cuz its the most heard/used of overdrive out there.

  • i understand that, but i just think it's good to have the more original overdrive pedals like the karaoke party and the intersellar overdriver around. :)

  • very cool boost

  • fulltone fulldrive or this?

  • THIS!

  • this.

  • I love PGS...but all of these overdrive and fuzz pedals are starting to sound too much alike. Do some demos in a band rehersal. Something to show how these pedals do in real musical situations.

  • There are SO many overdrive/distortion boxes out there, do we really need ANOTHER one? They all are basically variations of the same theme. This pedal is nothing special.

  • Couldn'tve said it better if I tried.

  • You could say the same about everything in general..

  • Sounded really great!

  • Andy you rock! You always play the coolest songs!PEARL JAM!!!

  • Yeah!! Red Hot Chili Pepers at 1:45

  • Can someone describe the difference between Drive and Distorion?

  • I have been told a few different stories, and i am not 100% sure so sorry if i am wrong. Generally overdrive is a dynamic drive compared with distortion. So on overdrive it will react with how hard you play even if not much, and i think distortion takes the signal and drives it to a set amount and will not soften like an overdrive. also the term overdrive comes from driving tubes and distortion from basically a distorted signal. And people use the terms loosely anyway. as i said not 100% sure.

  • might be trying to oversimplify here, but i'll try:

overdrive pedals are intended to push a tube amp into a clipping condition...

distortion pedals are more intended to clip the signal prior to it hitting the amplifier...

but with the range of stuff out there and the sheer amounts of tonal range you can get, the two can be about interchangable now...

  • overdrive mimics the sound of a tube amp cranked. It tends to be a little more smooth and "vintage" sounding. Distortion is a harder way of clipping. It is more sharp and gives more of the stereotypical "rock" tone.

  • ---and distortion gives more compression, wich means less dynamics.
