Brilliant!! I'm thinking of doing this, mostly because i don't want something big enough to hold koi, and I don't like goldfish. About how much money did this cost to build? How big is it? How many gallons? Is it heated? Filtered?
the only thing I would do to this pond is I would introduce a predator. thats just me. apart from that I think its bloody brilliant. I have white clouds, and they are so cheap, like, its the easiest thing to pick one out and throw them to the cat. Did you put the camera under water? Good job. Once again, I love this pond. You've put in the feeder fish to get adjusted before you throw in the goldfish. smart man!
I love white cloud minnows too. I had them in a little 35 gallon tub pond once, my first "water garden" about ten years ago, they even had babies. Don't think they would survive the winter in a pond here in New York. I have goldfish now, but you are right about koi (and goldfish), they produce much more waste. I did that underwater camera trick too, with my goldfish (see in my videos).

@Godzilla5alien yup, put the camera in a plastic bag (all the crinkling noise) and as for switching species.. they all do better without competition.
