@Vestibule07 - it's purposely mixed so that the band are able to hear their own sound, a DVD like this would have been originally made so the label could see the bands touring performance and so the band themselves could check on actual parts of the set and songs (they may have been planning a live DVD and this would have been a trial). There is also a chance that the DVD picture comes from the feed - recorded in the venue that night - and the sound comes directly from the instrument soundboard
