  • in which zone you shut the hogs thank you

  • loss the music

  • Did the bullet hit the pig before the gunshot happened?

  • @wilb6657 Yes, when you take shots at a long distance your hear the bullet whack the animal before the boom of the gun.

  • man, what luck...i go there all the time and dont really see much. just hike all over the dam place.

  • was that a 7mm mag you shot the hog with ? if yes how come it did not drop dead

    right away . good shootin

  • @jazzstar747 7mm Rem Mag. hogs are tough

  • @jazzstar747 Ive seen them hit with 300 win mags and run 100-200 yards before they drop...They are very tuff animals

  • @HEAVYbuck yes they are tough but this one looked like it was centerpunched

  • @eezerik The puffs of dust appear to be centerpunch but the shot was lower in the heart when we skinned the boar. Video and pics are not always what they appear.

  • what area was that!!!!i havent seen a single pig over there!!!

  • @1992randysanchez They are there.

  • @JessesHunting do you usually see pigs when you hunt over there?

  • @1992randysanchez Sometimes, maybe half the time.

  • @1992randysanchez do u usually see them far from road nd on flat land

  • oh man 5 years ago, how do you thing the huntings lookin this year?

  • @spokelse0 We have to soot lead free at FHL and if I remember right my buddy had solid copper Barnes loads on this one.

  • very nice... planing on going this o'10 season... any advice for a first time hunter in california?? any 'spots we should look for??? thanks

  • check out my video of 7 mag shooting in very windy conditions at 500 yards

  • nice,,I have seen many pigs and elks, when I was traning there as USMC infantry

  • That seemed to be a well placed shot.

How the heck could that hog get up and run like that? Unbelievable.

I've had Deer hit the deck and not even move.

    Tough bluddy Hog for sure.

  • Thank you for the footage,I enjoyed watching it,probably never have the chance to hunt hogs myself but interesting watching how its actually done.

  • @Chiptsaorocks Thank you for watching and leaving the comment.

  • hey what area was that at liggett. i go all the time but that doesnt really look familiar. maybe 9?

  • nice hog!weused to hunt ligget all the time. got a couple there but sometimes

we would go many trips without seeing a hog. have u been out there this year?

  • @FischerOutdoors Yes, I was there over New Year's. Most of the good areas were closed because is the elk hunts. No piggies taken from our group. One elk hunter got a pig.

  • thanks,i might have to head down there to cure my post duck season depression, good hunting to ya!

  • @emmy6423 shot was maybe 100 yards. I was in USAF and the guy shooting was never in military.

  • I'm checkin the tables, and I don't see anything better than a 7mm Rem Mag 154 gr for long dist shootin

  • Good shot. But why was someone carrying a 7mm if you were hunting turkeys?

  • We had the rifles with us in the truck in case we saw a pig or coyote. We were glassing from a ridge listening for turkeys when we spotted the hogs.

  • @JessesHunting Nice vid! that hog was one tough hombre!

  • the menaceing piano music makes this vid lol

  • totally.

  • did ya eat it???

  • Yes we did, nom nom nom

  • thoes things dont die haha

    check out my videos

  • fort hunter ligget?!

its been years since i hunted there! my dad and i did a whole lot of quail hunting...how is it now a days??

  • Good video and nice shoot but the music sucks. pianos music and guns don't mix.LOL

  • well at first it looked like a gut shot but in slow-mo it's at a good placement for the boiler room I would start looking for a bigger mag though reload with a better bullet or start shooting the head:) keep more meat:):) 7.62x39 mini two stage trigger for close, .303 brit enfield no.4 mk1 sport mid, .300 weatherby m1917 sport/scoped for long range yes yes what a great day it is:) lol

  • How many shots were fired at that boar,I think you were lucky.Nice that you got donkeypunched.

  • Be nice or we'll donkeypunch you, Mizzurah style.

  • Pretty bad shots with the7mm Mag crappy vid!!

  • Crappy video I know, I didn't have time to get the sticks out.

Two shots, one running on a big boar with one in the boiler room. Please splain how that is a bad shot or are you just a goof?

  • Ruger 7mm mag, my bad on the rifle, it was my buddies. The scale said 275 and is the official scale on the army fort. You can argue with them over if it's BS since you know everything. Judging by the comments you leave you're an azzhat.

  • Never heard of a "Ruger 700".

Is this the result of putting a Ruger and a Remington in the same safe overnight - LOL

  • 7mm mag. My bad.

  • Nice shooting! I'd like to see one hit with a grenade launcher...hehe

  • That was one solid hit and it ran? Hell I am keeping my 300.

  • Ya...Uhhh...No offence but do you wanna focus that fuckin' camera?

  • LMAO i love the music

  • how many yards out was he?

  • The shooter was about 100 yards from the hog when he shot it.

  • what area is this?

  • ....get the camera operator a tripod for Christmas!

  • Yeah, the wobbles were brutal on this one. I had a tripod in the truck but the action started before I could get it out.

  • Tough little bugger, eh?

    lol

    RD

  • sweet thats my favorite thing to hunt
