That's not true at all. He only did that for Chirs Cornell's "Billy Jean"; and Ryan Seacrest was trying to tell the judges it was Chris' version but they couldn't hear him.

Bo has shown creativity in other songs he sang on the show esp. For the Love of Money, Heaven, rock version of Whipping Post.

He sang an acoustic version of Drift Away on Regis and Kelly. He did a psychedelic funk medley of Voodoo Child/The Wall in his previous concerts like the one in Newport. Check it out in this site. It's good for both rockers to give their songs their own style. No need to argue about this.
