  • Very interesting! Beautiful babies =] Good work!

  • that is sooo beautiful

  • i like the first baby. its so cute! its like swimming lol!

  • actually they dont take their first breath until they reach the air,the umbilical cord provides them with oxygen until then, similar to when they are in the womb

  • Midwife. Because the mother may have wanted to see them under the water, they had been in water for 9 months, it'd be nice to see what they looked like. You very rarely see a water birth like this, it's a beautiful video.

  • The baby gets oxygen through the umbelical cord. As long as the mom is breathing, so is the baby.

  • It's disturbing how uneducated some youtube viewers are!! ''He drowns the baby'' or ''Take baby out, idiots!'' etc..

Please, take some time to read a simple bio book with simple pictures in it about birth and development in the womb!!

Water is a natural place to a baby for about 9 months and the cord delivers all the oxigen. Once the cord is cut, THEN is the need to breathe oxigen!!

Anyway, blame your parents! Guess I was lucky that my mum bothered to at least give me some books to look at! :)

  • Well, we're lucky that you're here to educate them. :)

  • magnifique!!!

  • the baby has been in water for nine months. it doesn't drown if it's kept underwater for a couple seconds more.

  • I cant wait 'til I can deliver babies like this =D roll on spetember!!

  • are they gonna kill the baby in the water?

  • no, the baby doesn't breath until it reaches air.

  • No, the only thing that baby will think when it comes out into the tank is ''Wow! More room!''

  • omg the baby was in the water for so long!

  • thats because the cord was till attached

  • i cant wait till i have my baby

  • this is my favorite youtube video! how awesome and soo cute!

  • That is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

  • This is so cute!

  • I want my next birth to be a water birth...I've already done the natural thing, but bet water would make it a bit easier.

It's amazing she had twins naturally, with no need for a c-section- they look nice and healthy too.

  • r they going to drown the poor babys

  • Because of the umbilical cord they can breath, and they are in water in the womb.

  • wow! keep pushing! how long was your labor?

  • i wonder why they keep the baby in the water for a longer time than usual

  • Every time I watch this I yell for them to pull the baby out. I know they can breath, but it's irritating. Maybe their just doing it for the video?

  • if they are, then thats dumb

  • This is one of my favourite birth videos. Nowadays, if you have twins you're wheeled away to the OR. I also love how alert the first baby is and the face on the second one. So sweet. :)

  • comment intended for tuggle5 (tuggawaster)

  • i guess the babies didn't even know they were out of the womb. the water could be very calming for them. i hope they become great swimmers :)

  • this is so beautiful!

  • That....was.....AWESOME!

  • Whattt? It says the video is no longer available! I hope this is just an error!

  • im a guy and the fact that you girls go thru all of this is really amazing. i cant wait untill im married and my wife will give birth. that will be the happiest day of my life. God bless you all mothers and future mothers who take your jobs seriously. (P.S. im foreign, excuse for the spelling =p )

  • Can they breathe?

  • how bout gevin the baby some air huh

  • read info genius

  • Lcaspia, hehe. That was really amazing, interesting to see the difference between both child and there reactions. This is natural birth. Can't help it but I'm lmao at "read info genius" why is it that ignorance will always ruin such beauty. ChrYssbulanu, girls in general shouldn't be having children. I can't wait until you give birth, Chr, it's not only Mothers job but Father too or Father N Father or you get it, right?...Let's give Bebe a kiss, Muuuuaaahh.

  • why did u let the bby stay in the water so long?

  • A baby can stay in the water for up to 5 hours without breathing air once its taken out and its lungs breath air the baby cannot go back into the water because it will drown

  • wow, that's an amazing fact! was this ever done then? and if so, what would the reason be? are there any benefits for mother or child for staying underwater?

  • There's actually a lot of benefit - especially for the mother giving birth, water is a natural relaxant, and helps the mother stretch & move to have the babies, less likely to tear & such. The babies come into a world much like the one they've known for 9 months, less lights, less noise because everything is muffled. - I hope that answers your question.

  • aww dat wuz cute, n im a 16 year ol dude

but dat wuz really...really touchin i guess. jus seein a life comin out of a womans pussy, its a beautiful thing

  • You had me convinced up to the part about the pussy! VAGINA!

  • lmao

  • lol

  • Beautiful!

  • i thought the baby was gona dround =o

  • The baby can't drown while the Umbilical Cord is attached

  • wow... this is amazing. thanks for putting these vids up!

  • Demais mesmo... A minha Princesa ANYA nasceu a 24/05/2008 no Luxembourgo debais de Agua é uma experiencia a repetir, foi menos doloroso e mais relaxante...

    Ass: Suzana

  • This is wonderful. Mum looks so relaxed and in control. It's inspiring. And the tiny little baby's look sooooo cute bobbing in the water. Well done!

  • so amazing video, you so great mom you had twins for water normal delivery birth, congratulation!

  • hey that was beutiful think im gonna have a water birth x

  • So they can adjust to being outside the mothers womb. They wont try to breathe until they hit the air anyways. The umbellical cord is still attatched so they still recieve oxygen to the blood via the cord.

  • espectacular! donde se realizan asi los partos?

  • tuggawaster!, you think you are so 'COOL' with all your 'strangness', it only makes you a 'BORING TRY HARD'....DUH..Yawn, Yawn.

  • That was wonderful. I love how they kept the babies in the water for a minute to allow it to adjust slowly to the world. What a wonderful birth.

  • How beautiful, tranquil and peaceful to come into this world!

  • very good job mama,

    wonderful video.

  • Exelenteeee!!!!!

  • This was a good video either the music drowned out her making noise or it was not that bad. I know I'm in early labor now and a shower relaxed me to the point of slowing my labor, so be warned about that. I was having my first five minute contraction and I was wanting a shower. Mistake it took a little over an hour for my labor to start again.

  • So, so beautiful video, fantastic, this twins will be happy babies, a good birth is very important

  • That was cool lol. The little babies looked so cute bobbing around lol!

  • this is so cute. when i get older and have babies i am going to have a water births. is it less painful or easier?

  • it relaxes you and helps with the pain. it doesn't take the pain away but since you are relaxed you don't feel the pain as sharply. when you are fearful the pain is much sharper and more intense.

  • im going to have twins to im so scared im only 17 and im doing it at home

  • yeah im 17 and due sep 29 im haveing a little girl you have a mid wife?

  • Sooo sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • Keeping them underwater as they showed cannot harm the baby. Remember they are still attached by the cord to the placenta where they get oxygen.

  • that was awesome

  • this is very beautiful. the twin seemed more happy in the water than out... the first one looked really cute. so did the second one!

  • So fantastic!!

  • We sould all be able to birth in the water like this!! women should write letters to thier local hospitals and birth centers demanding they have access to the water during labor and for the birth itself. Thw ater is like natures perfect medicine! If everyone were allowed to give birth in water the rate of c-sections and epidurals, along with all kind of other unnecisary interventions, would drop dramatically!

WOMEN OF EARTH, TAKE BACK YOUR BIRTHS!!!

  • I hope more and more moms can have these great experiences.

  • 2 cherubs! :D

  • That's awesome!!!!!!

    Very calming

  • Ogni volta che guardo questo video penso che la nascita di un bambino, se avviene in modo naturale, sia la cosa più bella e commovente che esista.

  • how come they left the baby for a long time under water

  • i guess to get use to the tempeture change from being inside the womb.....either way the baby experiences no harm in the water...it doesnt take its first breath until it reaches the surface also they breath out their mouths until they plug their noses :o)

  • Excellent video.

  • Thank you for sharing this remarkable video...how beautiful it is and how happy it makes this Colorado Springs midwife to witness it.

  • How funny, I am in Colorado Springs myself and just had a water birth at home with my midwife :)

  • jz a great birth... i wondered it is posible 2 give birth at the water

  • certainly much better to watch compared to the other birthing videos here.

  • are you allowed to record the birth of babies??

  • it all depends. many hospitals no longer allow you to for fear of a record of any mistakes and proof for any court case.

  • Such a beautiful birth video! Thanks for sharing!

  • beautiful

  • this was amazing to see, twins being delivered naturally, and in the water too.. just wonderful. I had a waterbirth with my baby and it was such an amazing expierance, we must continue to share our birth stories and videos with the world, birth can be so magical and healing, it can and should be pleasurable and sacred. Footage like this helps women to trust in birth and believe in themselves. I was inspired by similar footage and my birth expierance was amazing, I am a stonger woman

  • i agree, i too feel a stronger woman having been blessed with a waterbirth experience. i also used a midwifery service and found them to be wonderful in making sure our wishes were met in spite of a hospital setting. my next wlll definately be a waterbirth, even better to have it at home!

  • Beautiful and natural, just the way God intended

  • WOAH!!! That's awesome!!! The baby looked like he was just swimmin' ! That's adorable!

I heard that giving birth in the water is easier and less painful than just laying down on a hospital bed. Is it true?

    Just curious...

    :)

  • yes it is :)

  • This was cool!

  • igitt

  • This reminded me of a scene from movie, 'Look Who's Talking'(Kirstie Alley, Bruce Willis, John Travolta, George Segal, Abe Vigoda) where, 'Mikey' is being born.

  • amazing, woderful, beautiful, thank you very much

  • Thankyou for posting this! It's very inspiring! I'm supposed to have a waterbirth anyday now so it was very interesting for me. It only worrys me that all these people think you are drowning your babies lol. Do some research people!

  • how was your delivery? :)

  • oh just when the baby..i'm speachless it was so beuthiful.

  • That was so beautiful!!

  • Absolutely beautiful. I love how the baby's eyes are open and looking around. So much for the myth that babies can't see.

  • i agree!!

  • This might just be unsubstantiated rumor, but I've heard that underwater birth actually gives the baby the chance to clear the fluid from its lungs without it having to be suctioned out. *However* it wouldn't be my personal preference. The way I figure is we are land animals. We're meant to breathe air, and the sooner we start, the better. Water birthing isn't "bad" or "wrong" or anything like that. It's just my personal opinion for me.

  • The fluid is cleared from the baby's lungs throughout the course of labor, the contractions help to push out all of the fluid of the baby's lungs, so they're empty and ready for that first breath of air. The baby's are also still attached to the umbilical cord, so they're still receiving oxygen from the mother. As for how a water birth can be better or worse, I agree with you, it's just a preference. I wouldn't mind trying it myself though, not sure.

  • I have had both the hospital intervention filled "dry"birth, and the compleately natural water birth, nad let me tell you something, the water beats an epidural anyday!! My hospital birth was a very tramatic expierance, filled with unneccisary intervention and medication, I felt so violated by the unemotional hospital staff and the constant exams and interfearances. My second child would be born peacefully in the water, into my hands. I enjoyed my waterbirth so much, i felt honored....

  • and respected by the midwives who attended to me and my family throughout my pregnancy and birth. I have severe back pain and I still managed to really enjoy my waterbirth, my husband was in the water with me holding me and rocking with me through the contractions while our two year old played with his cars on the floor outside the tub. I found the warm water to be sooo relaxing, I felt like as soon as I was in the tub I surrendered myself to birth and my beautiful son came without pushing!!

  • Water's always helped me to be calm and relax, I'm such a bath person ^_^ lol, but sadly they didn't offer water birth at my hospital, though the maternity ward was all just updated into a brand new building! So the environment was relaxing, I had bay windows with a view of grass in a deep violet room and wooden floors, which was really nice. But I plan on my next birth to be natural and hopefully in the water. I'm glad you got to have such a wonderful birth,

  • I think does babies will grew up to be great swimmers!!!

  • what the hell why do they leave it in the water so long?

  • leaving them in the water is just like them being in the womb..it's no harm to the baby...i had the same reaction myself..so i looked it up.

  • one of the most beautiful things

  • Oh my gosh! That is amazing

  • Now THAT was cool!

  • This video is breathtaking. I have never seen such beauty.

  • This is the coolest video! :)

    The babies look sooooo happy.

Oh, and the best part is how the second baby does the "rock on" hand-sign when it's coming out (:47-:49)

    Thanks for posting

  • Beautiful birth! That is a stunning view. My daughter came out with her eyes already open to the world, I recall my husband saying. Not a water birth for me (unfortunately) but it is wonderful in such a natural setting how peaceful and happy they are.

  • no..poor you

  • This is beautiful! I love how natural they look floating in the water and looking around. What a peaceful birth. :)

  • Truly beautiful and amazing

  • This is what HUMANITY is all about.... I hope we stop killing ourselves in the world

  • Yep , the baby manages to stay alive because it's still getting its "energy" from the placenta

  • no... babies don't need to breathe till the cord is cut.

  • No the baby can breathe underwater already. It's been living in the amniotic sac for 9 months

  • I love how they come out with their eyes open. Lovely video.

  • yea theyr so adorable...hmmm..

  • Thank you for inspiting and educating us. Owesome!

  • the first baby looks like he is thinking WOW I'm out this is awesome. The second baby is like WHAT THE HELL,PUT ME BACK IN!

  • haha

  • another inspiring video!!

  • Wow, this is so amazing!

I really liked this video, and the babies are just stunning! I would like to have my babies under water! I have already started looking into it!

  • OMG ... this is so cute and amazing ... i love the way the stay under the water for a few mins ... so so so so so so so so cute

  • I am planning to have a water birth pretty soon too. I don't think I'd like my baby to stay under water that long. Since baby's swallow the amniotic fluid I would only think that having a baby under that long would increase the chances of it swallowing that water. Just my two cents.

  • i think people usually use sterilized purified and warm water for these births. much better than all that time hes spent swallowing his own urine in the amniotic fluid!! lol

hes gonna have to drink water sometime ^_^

  • It should be warm, but it certainly isn't sterile. However, the baby doesn't breathe or swallow the water. All babies are born with a "diving reflex" that causes them to close their mouth and throat when water is on their face. They are still receiving oxygen through the placenta.

  • This is was so BEAUTIFUL - it brings tears to my eyes to see and think how special these miracles are.

    Thank you for posting.

  • Beautiful.

  • great video! I wonder if there was something wrong with the second baby's leg?

  • The legs look quite bowed. I think that's from being crowded in the womb with his twin. He should be fine though.

  • OH! this was so neat to watch! i loved how the first baby opened its eyes underwater and was just looking around... precious! like, "whoa, i'm still nice and warm, but i have so much ROOM! WHEEEE!!!"

  • hey wait a sec... how come babies can breathe in their moms stomach and cant breathe in water? STUDY ON IT PPL

  • read the description!

  • but can it survive for the rest of its life underwater and iwthout touching air?

  • That is a good question. I've always wondered that...

  • no, not the rest of its life. immediately after birth is safe, because the umbilical cord is still pulsing blood and oxygen from the placenta to the baby. but once the placenta is delivered, shortly after birth, the baby needs to get oxygen from breathing.

  • Absolutely beautiful! I can't get over this birth video... Thank you for sharing.

  • i get that the babies don't start breathing till they hit the air..

but that rather disturbed me watching them not taking the babies out rigth away

    that made me really upset

  • same but hey wait how is it that they only start to breathe when they hit the air then ur saying humans can stay under water for the rest of their lifes but never have to know how air is?

  • that is a very interesting point.

  • but look... the child is being held under water, but it still has umbilical cord! without umbilical cord, it will suffocate I think. Am I right?

  • Won't start breathing until he reaches the surface

  • apparently you don't understand how the umbilical cord works. as long as the cord is still pulsing blood and oxygen to the baby, the baby can stay underwater, and won't try to breathe, because it's already getting oxygen.

  • that was so beautiful. wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

  • That was the most beautiful birth video I have ever seen. Thank you!

  • What a gentle transition from your womb to your arms your babies appear to have had. Thank you so much for sharing your birth.

  • I love the way the babies look a little confused by it all but very peaceful.

  • Great!

  • aww

  • Amazing! Bezaubernd!!!

  • Very pretty at yours twin´s babies. I´ve never see it in the waterbirth. Thanks for showin from babies. Me and My gf are watched this....:)

  • absolutely incredible! Thank you for sharing that with us!

  • yur not supposed to shock the baby by pulling it out of the water right away

anyways babies no not to breathe under water

  • =) The baby is still attached to the mother through the umbilical cord, which is still supplying oxygen to the baby even though he/she is now outside the womb.

  • Wow.... that was amazing!

The baby looked amazingly at peace in the water.

Im going to talk to my gf about this, it seems like a much gentler way to arrive in to this world.

  • Gorgeous! Simply amazing! Thanks mama!

  • Wow, that is really cool!

There so awake while there under there..
