Just got back from Regensburg dying to hear this song sung so beautifully. We were on a Blue Danube cruise from Budapest, Wien, Prag u. Muenchen. Satisfied my heimweh ever since I married my wife and heard these songs at my first X'mas in Germany back in 1964. Thanks a million for the posting.

Um....no offense and you can disagree if ya want but I think this Regensburger Domspatzen version of this Mozart lullaby is a bit better than the Vienna Boys Choir version but the Vienna Boys Choir is still good in my honest opinion.

German society is indeed diverse,..and this includes some both multi-culti trends, as well as ideas from the old (grey) days.

Yes, it`s in "Hilary and Jackie" movie. In the film, it`s supposed to be a composition by their mother, Iris Du Pre. written for her children to practise their instruments. It was not, of course, really written by her, but by B Flies.
