thx for the response. I did the 5/4 because it's easy to explain, but it's not really of interest. Other loops like 11/16 may be great for balkan beats. I will try some odd beats these days by myself I guess.

How do you do the 3/4?

this will really help for jamming with the band and live!

you start with a beat, cut away 1/4 and keep 3/4. (easiest to start with the gate-app and a nice 3/4 or 6/8 beat)

to cut away the 1/4 by multiplying the start bpm with 4/3. e.g. start with with 90bpm, go to 120bpm.
