Ugh, this fight was almost as bad as Skeith's... I hated the charm attack she did to my whole party. She'd make the party kill or maim each other then follow up with this area of effect attack that would finish the job. What a bish! LOL

Of all the phases I like Macha the most. There's just something about her... that name of hers, The Temptress, it fits very well because she's rather freaky to look at but at the same time very attractive somehow, if you ask me. Poor Elk though D: Elk and Mia are my faves. That description of Macha there makes me feel bad for little Eruku-kun ;___;
yeah, i remember, i lost that battle like, 20 times. sucked having to run back to the area EVERY FKING TIME. But it definitely gets easier after a while. and then it kinda gets depressing, because then u learn that skeith was the only real challenge...
@AngryAlbel When I started playing I just ran around trying not to get hit and overused potions on all of my players. Then I learned to use commands to have wavemaster stand back and heal (Normally used Mistral, later on Wiseman and Elk), have my heavy blade do the tanking, and I would focus on skills and healing the wavemaster. Most bosses were easy as pie after I started using my head.
I feel sorry for anyone who used Mia a lot in .Hack. 1) They now have to waste one of their favorite party members. 2) Even if its a game, its not easy killing someone youve grown an attachment to.
I personally never used Mia unless it was necessary.
Then it must have sucked for you to kill her. When Mistral left in Outbreak, I was so mad! She and BlackRose were the only ones I had used. Now I use Balmung.

@fatalframe95 well... no. She was killed, then turned into a full phase as an avatar program again. Mias personality is gone for good, so she is dead... at least, how much an AI can be dead.
Also, she indeed found Elks new char, Endrance, all alone. The Avatar programs scattered after the disaster that destroyed The World and attached themselves to players they could identify with, or had lingering program memories. Thats why former Sora got Skeith, and former Elk got Macha....
@AkumaUchitoru yeah, i actually wrote lyrics to this song not to long ago for a friend but she keeps telling me to show people XD. I cant sing but i guess my lyrics make it sound good. It somewhat involves the game about destroying the creature that cause havoc in the game leaving irl people to fall into deep sleeps (or maybe dead in japanese version?) .

.hack//sign- Maha(Macha) She realize what she was doing and went against her programing. One of the guardians data drain when she was protecting Tsukasa party.
.hack//games- Mia(Macha) Morganna reprogramed the Maha into Mia which she met with Elk that reminds of her Tsukasa and finding endless of aromatic grass for on reason.

Hell yeah! :D Go .Hack! ^^ Of course there's a lot of other good game music, but this was good as well. I think this game is really underrated... I think... gamespot's ratings piss me off, and I forgot the user scores, and G.U. was actually worse, which I'm surprised. G.U.'s gameplay was way more fun, and the story and acting is great, though the original was even more meaningful in some other way... the 2 games are like really different. G.U. by user score on GS was great though. ^^
Ok, let's start from .hack//SIGN. Macha, the small cat, works for Morganna. She obeys Morganna until the end of the show series and ends up turning against her to save Tsukasa because of the Aeromatic Grass that was given to her by him. I don't know how, but she somehow transforms into Mia before the game series, but she is still a part of Morganna. That's why she goes crazy when you start beating more phases. Then she ultimately turns back into Macha.
That's really sad that she tried to go against her own existence, and seeing her as this now... did you see how much she freaked out? Poor Mia... :( I'm just glad you bring her back. ^^ But as you can see from G.U., that was only temporary... :( The staff itself needed to call upon the Macha side of her for the Epitaph User thing. I still don't get the so called R.A. plan background information I read up on... I just don't get the why part... maybe I forgot or didn't read it... lol.
Isn't Macha the same name as the Cat on Dot Hack Sign? That cat and Avatar Macha have the same coloring and all so that's why I'm making the connection.

Yes, as weird as it sounds, Macha 1 and 2, even Avatar I think, and Mia are all the same person. Mia is the one and only deviant so far, with Cubia in XXXX being non-canon. lol. In XXXX, Cubia isn't just the anti-existance of the bracelet, but Kite as well and he has a human form. I read all of 1 and 2 super quick at the bookstore and I didn't like it as much as I wanted to... lol. The Mia Aida though I think is fake. The Aida messes with people's hearts, and makes them darker...
Mia (PC), Macha (Phase) and Macha (Avatar) are all pretty much the same thing. The AIDA Mia isn't related to the phase though, it was feeding off of Endrance's emotions.
I knew that... I must have phased it wrong it wrong or something if you're restating it much shorter and better. Or something... but yeah, I know about a lot of the .Hacks, just not all of the books like Mangas and Light Novels. I know some of them though. Other then that I pretty much everything from every .Hack like the Animes and Video Games. (By the way, this series is great, no? And I kind of like Mia. ^^)
I've beaten all teh GU games, so now I have Outbreak and Quarantine left. But I heard that Quaranitne is the toughest to get becuase they only released not that many copies. It cost around $67.00.
mia is also the purple cat lady's name in the old series that elk was obsessed with. i dont know what happened to that mia, but aida filled the hole in elk/endrances heart making a cat that resembled mia. so basically, aida was using his past to manipulate him
At the VERY end of Quarantine, you get the chance to bring Mia back. You get an e-mail from Aura saying there's a new life to be born. Then you go to some hard dungeon and find Mach the cat from Sign. You fight it at the lowest levle of the dungeon and somehow Mia is back again with no memory. After that, i dunno what happens. i havent heard of "The World" crashing....
Oh a warning about the dungeon. Its literaly crawling with data bugs.

I love Elk! I miss him! D: Brianne Siddall is an awesome actor! :D She voiced both Tsukasa and Elk and even Rubedo from Xenosaga! ^^

I get really sad, but I never cry... Air should have made me cry... one of the saddest things I've ever seen... why did Misuzu have to die? T_T That made me feel pretty bad, but I still didn't cry... anyways, yeah, I loved Mia/Macha. Strange that she's so different from the rest of them... I just wish the rest could be like her too

@AkumaUchitoru yeah, i actually wrote lyrics to this song not to long ago for a friend but she keeps telling me to show people XD. I cant sing but i guess my lyrics make it sound good. It somewhat involves the game about destroying the creature that cause havoc in the game leaving irl people to fall into deep sleeps (or maybe dead in japanese version?) .

Also, anyone else notice how Macha is the only Phase in the original games that is more organic-looking than made of stone, yet she still turns into a heap of rock when you Data Drain her? @_@

.hack//sign- Maha(Macha) She realize what she was doing and went against her programing. One of the guardians data drain when she was protecting Tsukasa party.
.hack//games- Mia(Macha) Morganna reprogramed the Maha into Mia which she met with Elk that reminds of her Tsukasa and finding endless of aromatic grass for on reason.
Macha, Mia, Maha are all one phase end of story.

i was partial on both ways i kinda guessed it was maha because the maha in .hack//sign is spelled M-A-C-H-A so i just guess but then i thought... ok they wont be pronounced the same so ive been calling it maka

TheVitaminA: What are you talking about? Its obvious sign when he called the cat Mia it was going to be Elk. Only Elk would try to find her. The colths have to agree on though.
Did anyone notice that endrance look is more like Macha( The one that kite battles) and Endrance avatar looks more like Mia.

Hell yeah! :D Go .Hack! ^^ Of course there's a lot of other good game music, but this was good as well. I think this game is really underrated... I think... gamespot's ratings piss me off, and I forgot the user scores, and G.U. was actually worse, which I'm surprised. G.U.'s gameplay was way more fun, and the story and acting is great, though the original was even more meaningful in some other way... the 2 games are like really different. G.U. by user score on GS was great though. ^^

Ok, let's start from .hack//SIGN. Macha, the small cat, works for Morganna. She obeys Morganna until the end of the show series and ends up turning against her to save Tsukasa because of the Aeromatic Grass that was given to her by him. I don't know how, but she somehow transforms into Mia before the game series, but she is still a part of Morganna. That's why she goes crazy when you start beating more phases. Then she ultimately turns back into Macha.

That's really sad that she tried to go against her own existence, and seeing her as this now... did you see how much she freaked out? Poor Mia... :( I'm just glad you bring her back. ^^ But as you can see from G.U., that was only temporary... :( The staff itself needed to call upon the Macha side of her for the Epitaph User thing. I still don't get the so called R.A. plan background information I read up on... I just don't get the why part... maybe I forgot or didn't read it... lol.

Isn't Macha the same name as the Cat on Dot Hack Sign? That cat and Avatar Macha have the same coloring and all so that's why I'm making the connection.
And if you say that I should know by playing Quarantine, I don't. Haven't played THAT game yet. I wanna beat the games in order and do all the conversions, thank you.

Yes, as weird as it sounds, Macha 1 and 2, even Avatar I think, and Mia are all the same person. Mia is the one and only deviant so far, with Cubia in XXXX being non-canon. lol. In XXXX, Cubia isn't just the anti-existance of the bracelet, but Kite as well and he has a human form. I read all of 1 and 2 super quick at the bookstore and I didn't like it as much as I wanted to... lol. The Mia Aida though I think is fake. The Aida messes with people's hearts, and makes them darker...

Mia (PC), Macha (Phase) and Macha (Avatar) are all pretty much the same thing. The AIDA Mia isn't related to the phase though, it was feeding off of Endrance's emotions.

I knew that... I must have phased it wrong it wrong or something if you're restating it much shorter and better. Or something... but yeah, I know about a lot of the .Hacks, just not all of the books like Mangas and Light Novels. I know some of them though. Other then that I pretty much everything from every .Hack like the Animes and Video Games. (By the way, this series is great, no? And I kind of like Mia. ^^)

Actually, I literally just beat G.U. Volume 1. I'm planning to play MUTATION (and maybe OUTBREAK) until I get Volume 2 of G.U.

I've beaten all teh GU games, so now I have Outbreak and Quarantine left. But I heard that Quaranitne is the toughest to get becuase they only released not that many copies. It cost around $67.00.

check gamestop's computer site as frequently as possible.
i got my copy for about thirty or forty something dollars online.
but we had to wait a long time til we finally saw a used copy show up in the stock.

mia is also the purple cat lady's name in the old series that elk was obsessed with. i dont know what happened to that mia, but aida filled the hole in elk/endrances heart making a cat that resembled mia. so basically, aida was using his past to manipulate him

At the VERY end of Quarantine, you get the chance to bring Mia back. You get an e-mail from Aura saying there's a new life to be born. Then you go to some hard dungeon and find Mach the cat from Sign. You fight it at the lowest levle of the dungeon and somehow Mia is back again with no memory. After that, i dunno what happens. i havent heard of "The World" crashing....
Oh a warning about the dungeon. Its literaly crawling with data bugs.
Sorry if i spoiled it for anyone. i HAD to explain.

No offense, but one major hint is the clothes. Can't you tell? lol. So you hate gays? lol. Hiiragi was a lot worse, especially since he was on Sakaki's side. There's nothing wrong with gays though. ^^ It's a way they are as in what and NOT who, I'm sure. ^^ At least I hope so... and though Endrance looks awesome and all, I miss the Elk side of him so much... I love Elk! I miss him! D: Brianne Siddall is an awesome actor! :D She voiced both Tsukasa and Elk and even Rubedo from Xenosaga! ^^

lol. It's not so bad to actually be serious even for a fictional character. ^^ I think... lol. I'm surprised some people say they get all teary eyed from sad things. I get really sad, but I never cry... Air should have made me cry... one of the saddest things I've ever seen... why did Misuzu have to die? T_T That made me feel pretty bad, but I still didn't cry... anyways, yeah, I loved Mia/Macha. Strange that she's so different from the rest of them... I just wish the rest could be like her too
