What's with all the peabrains complaining that it's not as good as the Ipad? It wasn't designed to be an aggressive ipod killer. It was designed to give more access to tablets to students from a developing country.

Today it seems reality as many Tablets(Chinese make) are being sold for around $100, they are also using Android platform, if Indian Gov produce it at mass level and stop levy taxes, they surely going to sell for around $35-$50, but what i don't like about this tablet/laptop is its Look, its really old fashioned, i am sure one can easily convert it into a beautiful creation if they apply some curve and reduce its thickness, button size and speaker holes.

That coupled with the fact that they said there were plans to produce only a million units probably means that these won't be available to the general public. I think its really cool that someone actually remembered that often people have the need of tablet, but can't afford the, sometimes ridiculous, high prices of mainstream market brands. It's true it has its drawbacks like the not so good touch-screen, but for 35$, really, how much can you ask for.

If it proves to be a reliable gadget, then for me, its the bargain of the decade.
