One of the things I remember about these days, was going to one of the Jubilee tapings, along about this time (1976-77)... All the groups there got hungry. We volunteered to to to McDonalds.. we purchased around 45 hamburgers t& French fries that day!!

It was amazing to see that this is just a corner of the studio with concrete floors and some lattace work behind them..

I was in gospel radio for several years in the late seventies. I remember this song so well & playing it for my listeners. It was a thrill interviewing Ronnie Hinson, & geting his thoughts on writng The Lighthouse. I ended up being good friends with this outstanding gospel group.

Yes they do, their were 8 children in the family, five boy and three girls. The four singers of the group were the four youngest. Ronny, Yvonne, Kenny, and Larry. The line goes as follows Teddi, Barbara, Calvin( Eric's father), Harold (their bus driver), Ronny ( Bo's father), Yvonne( my mother), Kenny (Weston's Father), and Larry.

Where did Bo and his wife group go, I loved Oasis and Calvery, they were so good.....they were supose to come to Tyler about 9-10 years ago and there bus broke down, so we saw local talent tha night, I sure was disappointed.....were they just a flash in Gospel Music, somebody I know that has a group, said Bo was very tempermental .

If my info. is correct, Eric is the son of Calvin Hinson. Calvin never performed with The Hinsons.
