It was written long before 2001. The songs written for Old Ramon were stuck in legal limbo for several years due to recording company buyouts, and it took a long time for Mark to get them released.
Wow, it's been a long time, and it was such a shame that this period of RHP songs got butchered with production for Old Ramon. You know the album was doomed when you don't even use your band in the studio. Is there any chance of loading River too? Or was he calling it Down Through the Door at this stage.
I will also post River very soon. I agree. The Old Ramon productions do not capture the essence of Void, Cruiser, Michigan, etc., from live performances. Have you heard the 1997 Hultsfred Festival versions? Unbelievable. I'll try to post that audio at some point as well.
River is about 18 minutes long in this performance, which is, in my opinion, at least 10 too many. Mark does have a propensity for carrying on too long at times. Oh well..when I get around to posting River it will probably be only the first 10 minutes.
I agree, I think the Old Ramon songs reached their perfection around late 1997, especially when they opened up for the Cardigans. Mark was standing up, felt the pressure, and gave the best performance I've seen him give in the 12+ shows I've seen since 1994.
Oops I actually meant the version on 7 Songs Belfast.

Hate the Old Ramon version of this. The version on Lost Verses Live destroys it.

Thank you for sharing!
Anyone know where I could find concert torrents for RHP? I'd love to have mp3's of these files.
