So, I'm Brazilian and I can explain the title. "Saudade" is a a word that only exists in portuguese, and this word describes when some people missing someone or something, "Saudade" is a feeling of longing. So, the title "Lamento de Saudade" means "lament of Longning feeling"...

I have 2 good microphones AKG C 480 B that I attach to the camcorder via a mixer. I have a very good guitar of course! And have worked very hard all my life to have a good sound from my fingernails.

I have been playing classical music on and off for 24 years and I am no master, but when I record your pieces ( I am doing it for my Dad- he always supported me). I will share it with you. I'm breathless. I play your CD in the background when I work. What do you do when you break a fingernail? You've been an inspiration for me to pick up my classical guitar after 10 years, but I'm always breaking nails which pretty much nixes my playing. PS: I'm 60 yrs old and started when I was 14.

I have very strong nails... (lucky me).

I keep them as short as possible.

I polish them several times a day to prevent them from getting caught in my cardigan or similar.

IF they break, I have some super, to component glue.

I NEVER do things that can put my nails at risk! No gardening for instance...

Is it just me, or is the Hallgren maturing? It still has its sassy, brassy character, but I'm sensing a depth lately that seems to be building and filling, akin to the depth of the Jean-Mairet. I like it!
