I have a question, maybe you can help me. I have a lvl 80 night elf warrior and I am specced fury-dps and prot-tank. I currently have 26k hp and 473 defense. This means that I only tank Trial of the Champion-Normal. However, I would very much like starting to tank heroics in due course (preferably in this week). How can I acquire 540 defense to become def capped and some 1000 hp more? I have around 550gold to pay for gems/mats for enchanting. Thank you in advance!
Hi. The best thing to do is run all the reg dungeons and go for the high def gear, or have a BS craft the epic tank gear. You can find pieces on the AH too, since it is BoE. Then once you have 540 (or 535 def) for Heroics, collect the gear from heroics along with emblem gear. Check out tankingtips (.) com for better mappings of gear.
Run heroics? you said your speced fury dps. Run heroics with a guild tank that doesnt need any gear from there, IE, hes got atleast Naxx10/25 gear. Then roll on plate tank drops. Enchant gear as needed (atleast lvl35 enchants, sons of hodir, northrend faction head enchant, etc.) gem your gear to increase the stats prot warriors stack, or the ones you lack, and viola! your Def capped and ready to start tanking Heroics and Naxx 10 for that matter as an OT. Good luck!

Hi, thanks a lot for the help. I am def capped now (even with deadly gladiators chestpiece and shoulders) and have tanked a few heroics already.

My current defence stats are:
armour: 22825
defence: 543
dodge: 20,98%
parry: 17,68%
block: 15,72%
resilience: 29
26691 HP (unbuffed)
Do you think I can off tank Naxx 10 with that?
