The battery life for the industrial transmitters would be approx. 3 years at 1 sample/minute; and 18 months for the standard units.
Transmission range is 120 metres for outdoor/line of sight and 40 metres for indoor/urban.

Looks like a good temperature critical system. What battery life do you get with a system that responsive? What range can you transmit?
