hell yeah that's a cool car. those kinda hood gimmicks were later seen on the 67 and 93-97 camaros. i bet that fucker scoots. damn, slam the door why don't ya lol. were they based on the malibu/chevelle?
@805ROADKING I believe it's because it had small valves that were positioned vertically in the head. So, they looked like nails hammered into a board.
2:13 the rear left tire was flat other than, that's a really nice car. You don't see too many in this condition, they usually end up abandoned or junked. Peace!!
These Buicks are pretty special. A lot people get confused about the engine a lot of times because they think the Wildcat number is the hp rating or ci when that number actually represented the torque. I think GM did that to make the cars sound more powerful in which they are and etc.
@OldsCutlass1978 I agree, it was GM's marketing people trying to make the already potent nailhead sound even stronger. This was right in the middle of the horsepower wars. Thanks for checking it out.
@superbran2008 They pretty well have cars for every budget. They tend to keep the nicer cars inside and the rougher, less expensive cars outside. They probably have over 500 cars at this dealership.
@RamblinAround My dad had a 56 with a nailhead. Not sure how big, but he still talks about the abuse that thing could take. Never owned a tougher car. 100mph with no coolant, and still lived? That's pretty impressive. Lucky for him it was winter.
63-67 rivieras were the best

63-64 Rivieras were the most beautiful Buicks, IMO

I bought a car from these guys and it was junk, no customer service and they lied to me over the phone. I would never buy from them again.
Oh your riviera has the air cleaning wrong side of the intake.

They don't have any General Lee's at that particular place. I do have a video of one on my channel if you want to check it out. Thanks for watching!

Rivs are such neat cars. I've always been a fan of the boattails of the late 60's to early 70's myself....

@pearsonba350 I wouldn't mind a boattail Riv with a 455 in it myself. Thanks for watching.

@FatGuyWithAKatana You're right about the hood indents and for the record, the camera made the door slam sound louder than it really was...lol.

@cwazmann1 It looked like it could use a few things here and there, but overall it's a pretty slick car.

Rivs are one of my favorites, and VERY underrated. I nearly bought a 65 instead of my Cyclone. Nailheads are monsters.

@bisquik3006 I think they are real interesting cars and you're right...the nailheads are some of the best hot rod engines of all time.
