If i am correct, Malediction opened in 2000. some people don't like it however i would have to say asides from all those steampunk costume kids, it has the ambience of a older goth industrial ebm bar which i miss., ...at least its not a wanna be rave like das bunker

I only go here because Amanda Jones spins here. Dj xian is great too. Amanda Jones use to spin at stigmata and dungeon years ago and has always been great. I dislike das bunker (goth rave now) and bar sinister (lame rock star wanna be crowd). i enjoy this place on a Sunday night. I just dance all night do not socialize do not care to.

I've heard good things about the male dancers in LA, so I'm searching for any video with them dancing in it.

Though this one didn't show that, it at least gave me something else to dig into.

hi its rare i know what you are talking about...the good dancers! well times and music and styles are changing you dont see those dudes out anymore. lol everybody just dances like ravers or no beat.

Malediction and Ruin are the best clubs ever.

Not a gothic club. Real goths can find better clubs than ones that play repetitious industrial music and pretty much ignore goth. That said, if you like industrial and anything else other than goth, Malediction is a good choice.

Before moving outta CA i used to clubbed in Perversion, the Dungeon, Das bunker, and el chamber but i know some of those people in the fottage and malediction society opened after i left CA!
