everytime my 2nd gen jailbroken iouch runs out of battery, i jus stick it in my pc, run the steps from like 5-9 on this program i have and it works perfectly. it takes about 2 mins to do...

id recomend doing it personally

Yea I know this video is old but even when the tethered jailbreak was released there was actually 0% chance of bricking your ipod unless you start screwing around with command prompt and enetering in random codes that might lead to it becoming bricked but only a gay dumshit would want to do that otherwise good vid.

In college, I do 3d modeling and the night before my project was due (I slacked off on it quite a bit..) the power and internet went out all night.

I got to class, sat down at my desk calmly and chugged 2 monster energies. Afterward, I proceeded to do 2 solid weeks of work in an hour flat.

hey its not a "high" chance

in fact if you download all the files needed and do the steps, its almost improbable to brick/break it

you will have to "try" to fuck with it to fuck it up

plus once you jailbreak it, you will have to do it when it reboots/shuts off.. so keep a outlet with you or an ipod portable backup battery.. that's wut i do and its fine

but if you dont wanna try it, dont. i respect your opinion

Well i just don't think it is that practical. You need the extra battery but if an app crashes your ipod the file system will not boot, period. You need a computer to resend the redsnow patch each boot so im gonna wait.
