  • Yes some one who knows that in hip hop the hi hatt is straight! THANKK YOU

  • @TheBigTymaJ Glad you liked it ;-)

  • @TheBigTymaJ Oh screw you. Straight hi hat hip hop beats only work in this kinda hip hop. In sampled Hip Hop it would never work.

  • @TheBigTymaJ lol i never sed it worked with all kinds

  • @TheBigTymaJ Yeah, cause theres rules in music...

    Goddamnit.

  • Cool beat but the drum is too treble ^^

  • @SkollDrum Thanks.., problem is the DS-10 doesn't have a master EQ to fine tweek the sound.

  • @squeakD Hmm it's possible if u pass by the custom drum i think ;)

  • Cool beat but the drum is too treble ^^

  • a few beats slower but this is the beat - Justin Timberlake SexyBack

  • Great groove :D. keep it up!

  • This is awesome for your first DS-10 song! When I got mine I didn't know how to use an analog synth, and I didn't get a manual, so it took me a while to figure it all out. I have a few tracks up, if you want to check them out.

  • Not a bad production for the DS-10. But trick is to make it sound like a real beat! The beats I make on there you can hardly tell i made it with DS-10

  • Thanks. The DS-10 is a very interesting little music app. Yes.., the trick is getting it to not sound like presets. This beat I made was pretty much all custom edits to each of the osc's. I also created this beat shortly after taking the DS-10 out of the box too! I turned it on.., made some edits and made this as my first beat on the DS-10.

  • yeee !!!!! nice tune man

  • Thanks! Glad you liked it :)

  • reminds me of a waiting menu in a nintendo game that would of came out in the 90s hot beat

  • Thx! The DS-10 is a very nice music app.., however due to it being an analogue modeling synth that's based on a popular Korg synth from 1979.., you're gonna get a little old school flavor with the patches you tweek :) Nothin wrong with old school either :)

  • thanks!!

i use from 80 to 90 and it seems ok...try out 80 and see!

  • how many bpm you use for this one??

and usually for your hip-song songs?

  • It depends really. My BPM's range in the 90's to around 105. I don't have this particular song on my DS anymore.., it was the first song I created with my DS too. Those user slots fill up quick.., and this song eventually had to go so I could have room for more music. Sorry I can't remember my BPM for this song.

  • ahhh.., I just had a thought. I also posted a video showing how I created this particular hip hop kit used for the song. Look at that vid and at the bottom of the DS screen you should see the tempo I used for this song.

  • i like the snare sound man can u make a tutorial vid of how to tweak the drum sounds? ive tryed but just make them worse lol im guna make some hiphop stuff as soon as i get good drum sounds

  • I will be posting a few vids very soon with screen shots to my settings for my kits. I've also gotten requests for the drum beats themselves.., so I'll probably be posting those screen shots too:) Just got a new digital camcorder lastnight and I'm still sorting out the software for it.

  • certainly has a hip hop vibe to it, good job! I have a bunch being rolled out on this synthesizer.

  • Thanks! I've been having a blast with this little application. It's great to be able to take a portable fully editable pocket synth and drum machine anywhere I go. Gonna get a good camera soon and start showing how I made these and my custom tweeks.

  • Yea, I need new video editing software and a decent video camera. Thats why most of my videos dont show the making of my songs. windows movie maker is horrible.

  • Nice shot for sure

  • Thanks :) That kit took some heavy tweeking along with bit of cursing too. The DS-10 is well worth the $36.99 spent!

  • AWESOME Squeak!!

    wow thats is so kool!

    Loved it!

  • Thanks! This little DS-10 app can do some amazing stuff.
