  • You cunts need to stop bagging on Slash, he moved on, and it's not your fucking life, it's his. You guys must lead sad lives to be bagging on what someone else (whom really doesn't give a flying fuck about you) does with their own life. If you were real Gn'R fans, you'd support what each member went on to do. They just wanted to carry on and live their own lives. Fan, yeah, if you say so.

  • For better quality you have to change clip into ASCII

  • 240p. Feel like watching old mtv or viva zwei:D

  • you should rename this to pixel.

  • BEST GUITAR RIFF EVER!

  • Om nom nom pixels

  • @w0bbl3r I think you spelt Guns N Roses wrong bro

  • HELL YEAH, A CLIP

  • Saw these guys in Wolvehampton (Civic Hall) UK in 1995!

Got roughed up by security for crowd surfing!

The best gig I've ever seen.

Slash is the best guitarist of the last 20 years!

    Chris, The Jaykies.

  • onde esta a qualidade do video ?

  • 240p... we meet again

  • I think if this song was of Appetite of Destruction, it would be considered a masterpiece ..

  • @whateva70

It was actually because they didn't think he was serious about it, and when axl wanted to recording another guns album, they stopped it and made him go back, which he later quit due to difference in opinions ( Between Saul and Axl )

  • 30 persone nn capiscono un cazzo...

  • this album (5oclock sonewhere) was given to me by the guy ii really like, hes moviing to canadaa and the first line will forever remind me of him...*well i know you couldnt love me*

WHOSE B>A>D>? good bad.....hugs

  • Fucking nice description.

  • My favourite S'sS song. Fucking Brilliant!

  • The singer sucks

  • @dubified89 yeah, he sounds like steven tyler

  • @dabyd1304 Nah Steven Tyler's way better

  • He sounds like one of those 80's pop hair band dudes

  • UOAl this song is so focking good, but vocal is to low from the guitar

  • @matheushyuuga023 focking?? r u like good christian or something?

  • talk about intros... speechles, lets just headbang.

  • 2nd ultimate driving song.

  • @cultation1 Penultimate driving song?

  • Comment removed

  • Eric Dover beats Miles Kennedy by far singing this song

  • shut the fuck up about GNR and enjoy the fucking music

  • In my opinion, Slash is worse without Axl, and Axl is worse without Slash. Slash is far too straight ahead rock for my tastes and Axl is too pompous, sitting in the studio and tinkering with crazy bullshit

Together Axl elaborates on Slash's stuff and allows it to become more progressive which I like (sort of in a Boston/Supertramp/etc kind of way without sounding like them, if you understand what I mean), whereas Slash kept Axl from going off the deep end.

  • GnR's driving force was Axl, Izzy, and Duff. And they've been writing music for themselves ever since, while Slash has been cashing in, making cameos in Gap commercials and pop star's TV appearances for an easy paycheck. And if you feel that's wrong... where are all the good Slash albums? Slash is famous for wearing a cool hat and playing other musicians' material.

  • @JeffreyDMiller Wrong,

  • @JeffreyDMiller

He's famous cause of the songs, because he's a great guitar player. the good slash albums? listen to the old GnR, velvet revolver slash's snakepit and the new slash album. he is famous because he writes good music, and is one of the best player of the fuckin world dude.

  • @JeffreyDMiller kill yourself u little troll

  • @JeffreyDMiller -RnFnR is a critically acclaimed album and VR and SS are a fine canon to be proud of.I was lucky enough to see Slash in Stoke in July this year ,im 41 been to hundreds of gigs ,seen Gnr multiple times (inc Manchester Apollo in 87 when it was half empty and they didnt do an encore) and i can honestly say it was the best gig i have ever been to ,he was playing for his life and Miles was unbelievable. So im sorry Sir but i have to strongly disagree with your train of thought.Amen

  • the whole TGn'R wrote lyrics and melodies and stuff , all together ... that means that : Slash , Izzy , Duff , Axl , Steven , Matt , Dizzy all helped writing the songs for AppetiteFor Destruction, Use Your Illusion 1 and 2

so if u don't know a shit , just shut the fuck up! thanks.

  • @TheTKDkidd not to be rasicst but it makes you sound likea an obnoxious black girl when you say thanks after your comments SHLOOP thanks, uh uh u got served, SHHHHLOOOOOP, oh no u di nt, now you get the point....

  • What a intro.... :) great!!!

  • message to Eric Dover & Lady friend/wife....hope your Baby is doing fine. I recall you two telling me about missing your child in Alabama.......ahhh sweet home Alabama eh? all the best from the dutch chick then sharing a spliff next to you in Rotterdam! funny the coffeeshop servant/waiter so look's like Chris Robinson....small world indeed! ye played at Richie's wedding!!! keep the love within....ciao from.....Annemarie it is....smoke puff

  • I recall sitting in a coffeeshop in Rotterdam...and I glance to the dude sitting on my left...with his lady....smoking a spliff...and my oh my he did look familiar...and within the minute of eye contact he introduced himself...of Snakepit. Slash...he said...was in his hotel room...across the street it was. After our meet and smoking moment's....I went and bought the c.d. with this song. IT DOES YE GOOD TO BLAST IT AWAY

  • É simplesmente impossível ser tão bom sem o Axl. Ele tem a voz mais incrível e encantadora que já ouvi nesse planeta

  • nice.

  • nice.

  • @whateva70 yea but slash wanted to keep touring with snakepit but geffen/axl said he had to caome home and write for the new gnr album which never finished cuz duff slash left matt got fired for sticking up for slash when axl was talking shit so get your shit straight got this from slashs book

  • amazing

  • the intro is freakin awesome!

  • Axl might be a greedy, fat jerk but he has the most amazing voice ever to happen on planet Earth and it's just impossible to be as good without him.

  • @GrubyTolek i agree but Axl is an fat jerk, he is the greatest frontman of all time

  • i love the begining sound like country

  • I've listened to this song like 10 times in a row....there's somethin voodoo about it

  • Is Matt Sorum the drumer?

  • @rocha93r yes and he also was on the song Doin Fine by snakepit

  • shlash's book! awsome excelent read!

  • i wish snakepit had a little more faith in themselves. they could be still making gold like this

  • @ultrasonic729 They didn't quit cause they didn't have faith in themselves. Its cause after they sold 1 million albums the record company stopped supporting them.

  • @whateva70 Yep

    and gay

  • @whateva70 I dont blame the record company. I am a big fan of Slash and the old GNR, however Slashs Snakepit and Velvet Revolver havent been Slashs best work in my opinion. I find both bands pretty boring.

  • @whateva70 correct, in part also too that there was lack of committment from members and they basically couldnt be arsed, real shame.

  • man he has the same voice as the guy from whtie lion.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=U0EW2H2_lwc

    youtube.com/watch?v=U0EW2H2_lwc

  • Time magazine rated Saul as the 2nd best electric guitarist of all time.........so who is #1? Jimi?

  • @UtzChips2009 has to be jimi NOBODY BEATS HIM!

  • @UtzChips2009 yes

  • @UtzChips2009 it wasn't the 'best' guitarist, it was most influential... And for some reason Eddie Van Halen wasn't on it...

  • Someone can give me a tab for intro? Please...

Ktoś może dać taby do intro? Proszę..

  • bring back the snakepit!! i adore this album!! reminds me of my early days at high school. brought me through a shit time, just love Slash. FUCKING GENIUS!!!!!!!

  • @tait180 hell yhea men =D

  • its one of the most beautiful solos of slash

  • dude, it's fucking great

  • I grew up on GNR loved everything about it, and I think Snakepit was awesome, saw them once in 1995 in Bratislava and loved every minute of it, then saw Slash solo in Budapest... there is too much hassle about who belongs where, but I personally think maybe it is for the best if they separate before burn out

  • slash needs to go back with g n r g n r sucks with out him i no axl is a dick but with slash its so good like novimber rain best song ever

  • slash was never satriani's sudent , that was kirk an steve vai, get your facts before you speak idiot...an no axl ruined GNR... thats common knowledge man

  • this band destroyed GN'R

  • @97AsV Idiot this band did not destroy guns n roses, Axl did that a long time before because hes a complete prick!!!!!!!

  • @coolmurr fucker, 1, you're the only idiot here,2. what are you talking about when you say with that prick?/:)

  • he is probably the most influential guitar pplayer of our time, probably my favorite one, but not by any means the best in the world, I mean after all he WAS a student of the man JOE SATRIANI (arguably the best electric guitar player in the world) much like kirk hammet who also was his student.... of course not many can say that they are better than him, let alone teach him lessons :D

  • @Mr13964 You fail . .. . .

  • Snakepit > GNR.

  • @playingwithshotguns nah, Gn'R > Snakepit.... although snakepit was awesome

  • slash is the #1 guitarest in the world i mean seriously i bet even if carlos santania(very famous guitarest) or angus young(AC/DC guitarest) guitar dueled with slash he would kick there ass into the wall with the solo from sweet child o mine or some welcome to the jungle.

  • @chaoskings35 i agree, but its slashs stule of playing that i realy like (obviously he has kick ass skills and all) thats how i judge fav guitarists, by style!!

  • @chaoskings35 U cant compare like that guitarists. (Well, yeah, my #1 is Slash too) But anyways, there is Jimmy Page and other very famous guitarists. They are all music. Different people - different music. I picked guitar of Slash. Rock on.

  • 3:16 .. isn't that the guitar used in the estranged video as he played the first solo? (after the the two verses, which come after the piano breakdown)

  • i'd like so fuckkn much this song

  • slash's solo's are o'ways so f'n epicly awsome!

  • in rotterdam eric and his lady were sitting next to me in a head shop>>>>hello alabama i knew he had a familiar face!!! and trouble rolling a reefer>>>hohoo>>>hey your baby must have grown slash was staying indoors u said>>>>>> bon jovt was playing and i went the black crowes>>who played an awesome guitar richie version of dylans meet me in the morning! i recognized the first seven pings>>>>bravo rich and familia>>>>>

  • you must admit it, the beginning is pretty cool

  • you must admit it, the beggining is pretty cool

  • the sound its great, worst mm dont like me

  • Eric Dover

  • Who Sings???

  • because of Slash, I met the Blues.

  • Never listened to Snakepit before... this song has a nice southern rock feel... reminds me of the song "Can't You See" if it was performed by the Black Crowes.

  • i cant work out how to do tht slide any one got tabs for it cos the ones i found dident include the slide ??

  • People must realise that Axl wrote all the GNR lyrics and most of the melodies. No Axl no songs, it's that simple. Remember that Slash played along to melodies, melodies created mostly by Axl. One things for certain. Without Axl the others may have been an okay band, but no way a great band. Without lyrics all you have is instrumentals.

  • @onepinkrose Yeah, and lots of my favorite songs are intrumentals.

  • @onepinkrose sort of true. not completely though. of course no axl no GNR that's pretty obvious. he had his part in the songs as much as the other guys. though what made them stand out wasn't only the weird but cool vocals, but also, if not mostly, the amazing riffwork by izzy and slash. still not quite guns, you still need the energydrums by steven and straightforward, yet fulfilling basslines by Duff. point is you need every member. But I gotta say it would still be a great band without Axl

  • @Silent80b well thats the argueable thing. because alot of the big hits(going to say their biggest two songs) welcome to the jungle and sweet child o mine would have had a diffrentssound so their is the slight chance they wouldnt have been as popular. but ya they could have gone far with a diffrent singer still(well they did go far with axl but u know what i mean)

  • @onepinkrose

Thats such bullshit, learn some shit. Axl didnt write all the lyrics and Izzy and Slash contributed a LARGE quantity of lyrics and most of the melodies. Ignorant fuck

  • @linkinmcr That's funny because if you actually watched some interviews with Slash and Duff on youtube then you'd watch Slash say that 'Axl writes all the lyrics'. Please tell me what lyrics Slash wrote, Axl wrote all the Coma lyrics which was according to Axl 'Slash's baby'. And please tell me why Axl took 25% of the royalties from Appetite when Izzy and Slash only took 20%. Slash says so in his book. And Axl has more writing credits on the UYI albums. You go learn some shit, muttonheaded tit

  • @onepinkrose

Ha ha ha ha Its funny you bring up slashes book. Ive read it twice. Axl got 25% because they all agreed since steven didnt contribute to the beats, he deserved less and axl was the one who made the fuss about it. Axl and Izzy wrote Mr. Brownstone on a grocery bag about their heroin addiction and Slash thought up the chorus to Paradise city. These are both little examples. Its quite fucking stupid to say he came up with the melodies. Ignorant twat ha ha ha ha

  • @linkinmcr Do me a favour and type in 'Duff Slash 88' into Youtube search and then watch as Slash clearly says on 30 seconds that Axl writes the lyrics. Straight from the horses mouth. That's all I was stating in my original point on here. That AXL WRITES THE LYRICS. Get over it. You're just a bitter Axl hater, and I can understand why. He was virtually fully responsible for the breakup of GNR. Anyway, as I've said just watch the video. Slash says Axl writes the lyrics.

  • @onepinkrose

No shit the singer writes most of the lyrics. Thats his job. You ignorantly said he writes every single material and completely stated false facts about him being payed more for being a more valuable artist in the band. Not to mention you accused ME of being an axl hater when all you did right there is shoot Slash down. Axl is phenomenal and an amazing artist but your so full of shit when you say it wasn't his fault GN'R broke up. We call that fucking "Ignorant".

  • @linkinmcr Axl was paid more, Slash clearly states in his book that Axl took 25% off Appetite but him, Izzy and Duff got only 20% and Adler took only 15%. This isn't a false fact, it's true, as I've said Slash states it in his autobiography. And Axl has more wrting credits on the UUI albums so I imagine he wanted more royalties. I guess we'll beg to differ.

  • @onepinkrose

Good one for bringing up Slash's book ha ha it was said that they all split their cut evenly between them but Axl was offended that the drummer of the band and someone who didn't even contribute was making as much as him, and that he was the frontman etc. So they all complied with his wishes and gave him the extra. Your an ignorant idiot.

  • @linkinmcr Slash started Paradise city, then Duff McKagan and Izzy Stradlin started playing along. Slash came up with the melody, Axl started singing 'take me down to the paradise city' and slash came up with 'where the grass is green and the girls are pretty.' and 'where girls are fat and they've got big titties', which, obviously, didn't stick, but I think it's rather catchy. Not that I like fat chicks but, too each his own.

  • @JakesJams

Oh I know my friend, i've read the book also ;]

  • @linkinmcr Duff was also involved in writing songs a lot.

  • @linkinmcr you dont know anythikng slash didnt write any lyrics just some melodys for the lyrics, and anyway izzy wrote a big amount of songs on use your illusion 1 and 2 and on appitite

  • @thetalibanter

That's false. He did. Its a fact. You're fucking stupid, learn something.

  • @linkinmcr i have read some of the liner notes for gnr albums and the name you see the most is izzy stradlin. he contributed lyrics, music or both to almost every gnr song

  • @umumgot

Yeah of course Izzy did. Thats completely true. But what you said had nothing to do with Slash.

  • @linkinmcr no it was to do with how wrong that first guy was about axl

  • @linkinmcr Axl wrote most lyrics, Izzy wrote most riffs.. Slash was just the badass face of the band.

  • @linkinmcr axl wrote most of the lyrics with izzy, slash almost didn't write any lyrics.

  • @linkinmcr you shold know who wrote the lirics from GNR was axl, izzy and duff, slash is great, and maybe he helped on some songs, but whi really wrote the lirics are izzy, duff and axl

  • @AndrelfMira

    Uh false.

  • @linkinmcr or true, just do some reaserch please

  • @AndrelfMira

Been there, done that. Back atcha dipshit

  • @linkinmcr ahhhh alright!!!, so you don't know how to read...Its all clear now

  • @AndrelfMira

Yeah no Axl DID write the majority and then followed by izzy, then slash then duff. Axl: 22

Izzy: 12 Slash: 9 Duff: 5 those are the contributions on the UYI.Not to mention the riffs etc Everyone knows Axl wrote most the lyrics too, he's the singer; no shit.. Its common sense. You don't know what the fuck you're saying period. And you cant even spell...Its all clear now.

  • @linkinmcr Please dude, read slash auto biography, and then you will see

  • @AndrelfMira

Read it. Twice. Look up the stats son.

  • fucking bad quality

  • I don't personally believe that was the interest of Guns or Slash, I don't believe the right song was the interest. I mean, what people don't know is, the Snakepit album, that is the Guns N' Roses album. I just wouldn't do it.

    Quotation of Axl Rose

  • @daoldGNRrox Yep, so true and I wonder what the lost album of Guns N' Roses would of sounded like of 1996 that never got finished and there were 6 tracks done on it.

  • First 15 seconds of this song sends chills through me

  • SLASH Attacked LIVE by Fan ! (2010) + Axl jump (1991)

    /watch?v=BViEIKKgYF8

  • holy fucking shit... slash's snakepit was fuckin shit amazing..... slash fucking rules.

  • I heard this song live last night at the Boston House of Blues. It sounds incredible live, and has quickly become one of my favorite songs. Slash is a great musician on the level of John Williams and Beethoven. It's impossible to fully appreciate the intricacies of his work until you've seen him perform live.

  • I had the opportunity to see live a consent to GNR in 1993 but everything went to see Slash, GNR came in 2010 came here to El Salvador and gave me no interest in going to see them only because they lacked the best of the better slash!!!

  • That sure looks and sounds like Chris Izzy Cole on vocals.

  • Its called artist growth

  • this record is fucking awesome!!! and the next one too. but for some reason, since the second record of velvet revolver it seems that slash is more into easy rock pop-shit. but the slash of the 90's is just fucking awesome.

  • @gunsdf what do u mean??..his solos album is pretty rocking, those songs on there arent poppy..besides Slash has actually said he hated VR's 2 albums because they werent as heavy as he wanted them to be since Scott Weiland made VR sound like STP part 2...but ur right the Snakepit albums are jammin and they got great fucking songs on there, better than alot of VR's songs

  • @NotoriousYeshi well, I have listened the new record just once. and I think the first one of velver revolver is very good. about the second one, I agree with you that it sounds like STP.

  • i love this song. This song and neither can I. I think he should work with eric dover again, saw eric dover in alice cooper`s band during the dragontown tour. is he still working with alice cooper?

  • my vote is for either myles kennedy or andrew stockdale as the new singer for vr. as of now they arent that great

  • @ZenGuy12

    I say Jason MacMaster.

  • 23 people missed the like button.

  • Slash Rules

  • Its not Guns 'N' Roses anymore. It's Axl and friends.

  • @Youngflames0 The Axl Rose Experience

  • @Youngflames0 i thing its axl and axl and bush

  • @Youngflames0 OMG THAT EXACLTY WHAT I SAID!

  • @Youngflames0 HOLY FUCK, I WAS JUST THINKING THAT IN MY HEAD A FEW MOMENTS AGO AND THEN I READ YOUR COMMENT JUST NOW HOLY FUCK MAN

  • @Youngflames0 Exactly. The current incarnation of G'n'R is a fucking joke. Slash, Duff, Izzy, and Steve should get together with another lead singer (Myles Kennedy, anyone?) and go out on tour under a different band name. Maybe something like Paradise City Gypsies. lol. I don't know, they can figure that one out.

  • @LuckyStrikes55

Paradise City Gypsies is such an epic name !

  • @LuckyStrikes55 thay would have to get matt, steve cant handle being on the road.

  • @Youngflames0 why axl is brough into the fucking equation?

  • @Youngflames0 axl's to duchie to have friends

  • @Youngflames0 hearing a few songs from the release of alx and friends last much delayed album chinese democracy on the radio made me not buy it. thats my random blurb of the day

  • The break up of GNR left too big a hole in my soul. this song is just a fix till i need another shot of rock n roll.

  • Everyone just has to believe that any band that slash joins is going to rock no matter what...period

  • Eric Dover rules!

  • most of the things Slash did after Gn'R has been shit... but Skakepit fucking rocks!

  • @Lukith66 How? His album was amazing, Velvet Revolver's first album was pretty stellar, the second album was pretty decent and Snakepit was great.

    Your logic fails.

  • Boring.

  • This song sucks after 5:14.

  • @OhGodItsU LOL!!! gd one!

  • @OhGodItsU I don't really like the part before 0:00 either.... or is that just me?

  • @krijgered666 Gn'R>Slash's snakepit... although snakepit rocked!

  • @OhGodItsU Yep , does it ever .

  • Slash is ALMOST the king of Rock N' Roll!!! Time will fix things

  • first of all EVERY member of the odl GnR is and always have been musical geniuses don´t give a fuck if u say axl is a douch or slash is an idiot bcauz of leaving guns, or I hav bad orthography...what I give a fuck bcauz im sick of it is of ppl are bigger douches than axl saying that guns is better than slash(which obviously not guns will never b the same, is time to grow uo and accept that) alsosome ppl being more "Idiots" than slash(which he is not) comparing everything to odl guns....

  • whos the singer?

  • @lepod4u Eric Dover but Slash brought in another dude for a 2nd Incarnation. He goes by the name of Rod. Can't remember the last name.

  • @diablo9333 cheers m8

  • Has anyone else notcied that nearly everyone video on youtube containing a member/ex -member of Gnr, has tons of comments on it, about whos better? lol XD

  • come on slash! bring back the snakepit! quit fucking around with bullshit popstars!

  • i'm in love
