  • Does the bridge only come with this music?!? If so, then I'm swimming instead.. that's just too annoying.

  • Beautiful place but a bit intimidating. Really wanna take on the adventure of going to northern areas of Pakistan. It really is worth it. Don't you think so?

  • @poopas88

Anyone who is registered writes for Cracked, check out the "Topics" pages.

  • "Relax, this seems legit"

  • I would normally say "Don't look down", but I think it's necessary here...

  • can sum1 tell me the name of the song the nusrat 1

  • can some1 plz tell me the name of the second song (the nusrat fathe a

  • can some1 plz tell me the name of the second song (the nusrat fathe a

    one)

  • @tahaam the 1st is "Ishq mein tere", Raqs-e-Bismil, Aabida Perveen, the 2nd is "Dikhiyan Diyan Gallan", Haq Ali Ali

  • @popcatepetl2 thanks a million bro

  • @tahaam Its " Dhukan diyan gal payan " from the album bari bari

  • The one thing I don't understand is why the farmers don't simply move their homes to the other side of the river and live closer to the farmland -- although the mere thought of having to haul all their shit across this thing is enough to give me vertigo.

  • @WesThorburn there are different villages on each side, so the bridge connects the different areas/villages with each other and the main lifeline - the Karakoram Highway. Farming land is very rare in those rough mountains, so you have to use every valley as efficient as possible. It is no easy place to make a living.

  • Comment removed

  • @WesThorburn nice job quoting cracked word for word

  • @WesThorburn way to steal the quote/question from cracked...unoriginal goon

  • @WesThorburn: There's one thing you should forget immediately: the word "simply". - In these regions there isn't a "simple" life. To select a place to build one's house just dozens of potentially life treatening factors have to be considered: - reachable in reasonable time? - sunny (specially during the harsh winters)? - no danger from rock falling, landslides, avalanches, inudation, flash flood? - no waste of very precious farmland?

  • Тересно, какова статистика успешных проходов? :)

  • But is it wheelchair accessible?

  • Spectacular video. It is gratifying to see that there are still unspoilt areas of the world.

  • @116Bears you speak from my heart - that´s what Im looking for. And Pakistan (=the land of the pure) really offers unspoilt areas, pure nature, pure culture, pure adventure.

  • @popcatepetl2 I like the sound of that...but I'd hope there would be "pure adventure" that is not associated with heights...I HATE heights...

  • Damn, architecture, you scary!

  • anybody know what the name of the song is and the artist?

  • i feel bad for the cameraman

  • i would go to the other side...no problem

  • Cracked

  • Great place to recreate Temple of Doom.

  • How is it even possible to get safely across when it is rocking crazily back and forth like that? You take one step too far towards the outside and flip over.

  • ..................

  • from cracked

  • fuck that, its nothing but string and drift wood.

  • @p14y4h0n3 but mostly hope

  • 2:15

    NOPE.jpg

  • At about 3:00 is when it starts getting messed up...

LOL I'm watching this video like, "HEEEELLLL NO."

  • Doesn't change the fact that the Cracked office is still the most dangerous place in the world.

  • @polgasrg whats that?

  • @polgasrg and youR MoM's BedRoom is most safe place in the world. fuck-off

  • @bhatti026 Actually it is a pretty safe place retarded troll. What's the problem? Got some attention issues?

  • 3:01 Holy F*ck!

  • o hell no

  • @ralph0221 You are refering to 1:08 There are no crosses hanging, just some bridge beams are ripped, hanging vertical, others still horizontal, making it look from the front perspective look like a cross to you - but they are not.

  • No toll and the tandoori is to die for

  • dang...... i guess i would never make that cross!....

  • Hussaini bridge...love it... is it still there after the flood lake in hunza?

  • this sus br sumberged in the lake on 17th May 2010, and may we cant re-construct it the most attractive tourist spot of Gojal Valley, the other two Gulmit and Passu also sumberged. visit my videos for live.

  • so sweet :)

  • great

  • Now I understand why these guys want to bomb american buildings so badly.

They are jeaulous of their engineers.

  • @vladmirgc I doubt these villagers personally have an issue with America

  • very nice video, my village.

  • @gulbtur Very nice villages in a beautiful area. I´ll be back sooner or later!

  • hey u should have put James Bond theme track here instead of qawwali ...lol

  • Nice video!

Did not see this on my travels around skardu. Not sure if i would have had the courage to cross the foot bridge though. Like to think i would...8-)

  • Just do it......next time!

  • And, if i fall through the rickety sticks will you also be saying, better luck 'next time!' or maybe that it was gods will?

  • Well, locals cross the bridge daily, cant see why you should fall down....but hey, safety first ;-)

  • popcatepetl2, rightly or wrongly, such bridges are all part of the pakistan experience.

Truth is, that if i had seen this bridge with a local crossing it successfully i would not have left the area without attempting a crossing. Far too much fun to miss out on! 8-)

  • I wonder if I will try to cross this bridge. Really gr8 wonders, no doubt Pakistan is greatest country in World.

  • "Pakistan is greatest country in World" decentnation.

Certainly, Pakistans northern areas have some of the most stunning scenes that i have ever seen.

  • If i am not wrong isn't this near Passu ????

  • Yes, it is between Gulmit and Passu, connecting Husseini and Zarabad.

  • Hmm.... bro, its really a beauty and yes i did try to put one foot but it take balls really to cross it :)

  • Especially when wind comes up. But you just have to trust their engineering - they keep things running in the most difficult areas. You know those tiny cablecars/winches crossing canyons? They are even better! Have to try that one next time ;-) Pakistan zindabad!

  • Yes no doubt, Pakistan Zindabad....If you have not tried the area towards Astor till Chilum chowki...Deo Sai plans as well ...wooo man those areas are also great...

  • I didnt cross the Deosai Planes from Skardu to Astore since it was said to be to snowy, but went to the Diamir Face of Nanga Parbat via Astore - so many amazing beautiful places there....

  • sorry Rupal Face via Astore, I meant.

  • Man I wish i could just like, leave everything behind, and just go around the world.

  • Northern Areas are not pakistan but are part of The state of Kashmir which should be made independent of both India and Pak

  • great video but stupid song in back ground... do u think it match,s the video?

  • Hm, I was thinking either this or a Michael Jackson song....but seriously I like it, it is traditional and quite emotional, fits pretty well to the scenery. But the lyrics I cant translate for you.

  • they should really fix those bridges.

  • what song is in the beginning? of abida perveen?

  • Yes exactly, it is "Ishq Mein Tere Kooh-e-Gham" of Raqs-e-Bismil by Aabida Parveen.

  • awesome coverage, like a short documentary. Unbelievable place! well done!

  • Which place is it.?Excelent work dude.

  • Gosh you're indeed crazy Chris hahahaha...

  • Comment removed
