Years ago, I chose a local radio station to be the hold music for our phone system. At the time, they were pop hits from the 70s, and it was a fun station that I thought would be inoffensive to just about everyone.

Not two weeks later, unknown to me, that station changed their format to virtually uncensored gangster rap. Several customers complained over the course of a month, and I assured the owner that they were mistaken, until I noticed it myself. I was very nearly fired over that one.
