The show in Springfield Missouri on July 31, 2011was almost two hours late and lasted less than the wait. His new opening act seems to be his new opening. She does not belong on a professional stage without a pole. Ms. Monroe sucks, that is probably why she is touring with Dwight. Reminds me of Glen and Tanya.
Not worth the ticket price, will not pay to see him again.
@greg&nancy...I think you'll find many, many songs by Dwight appealing; he's a wonderful songwriter & his voice is, as you say, amazing. If you ever get a chance to see him in concert, go!

Whoopi looks like she wanted to get in his lap--and damn I would have had to be restrained to have kept from doing it. What a sweet and thoughtful delivery of this song!! The stripped down version of it makes it that much more 'tender' if you will........and what a dazzling smile from Mr. Yoakam, and the 'Night!' at the end. Priceless........priceless.

This is my favorite song of his, and "It only hurts me when I cry". ....siiiigh. He has the most incredible vocals I've ever heard. To say he has a great singing voice is such an understatement, there's so much more there, really beautiful.

Dwight Yoakam is so good I can't hardly take it! I have his acoustic CD, and I like to listen to it when Im alone and it's quiet. I close my eyes and I can imagine an old beer joint with all of the all time great country singers sitting at the tables and the bar like, Hank Williams Sr., Lefty Frizzell, Bobby Bare, Merle and George, Tom T. Hall, Porter Wagnor, etc..., Listening to Dwight Play and sing with nothing but his guitar. I think he sounds the best that way.
