I like how you attach the poles to the fabric before you raise the fabric. Interesting! Much easier than my technique!

@NancyToday We've always attached the cover to the poles before you put them in place. Common sense and less work.

Sure you can use Bamboo, as long as it is the correct size. I believe Bamboo would be very strong material to use. I use Pine poles myself.
