  • amazing invention. It works so simply.

  • I like the little sound you guys plays when the gripper graps the board.

  • even though this product has no use for me, I'm just hypnothised by the music and how well this gripper works that I watched the whole thing.

  • I'm blown away at how well this gripper works.

  • I wanna see the outakes, where a board slips out the gripper due to surface dust, and land on the guy below!

  • The Gorilla Gripper will grip & lift as many panels as you can sandwich within the two gripping plates. The standard 'Contractor' model of the Gorilla Gripper has a gripping range of 3/8" to 1-1/8". You can, for example, grip, lift & carry four 1/4" sheets of plywood at one time if you care to! Note: Two new models of the Gorilla Gripper have just recently been introduced: The Gorilla Gripper 'GP'...gripping range of zero to 3/4". The Gorilla 'Door' Gripper...gripping range of 1-1/4" to 2".

  • it would be nice if u could lift more then one pice at a time

  • That thing will defiantly cut down the splinters too!

  • @irishchrisc know what else cuts down on splinters? manning up for a little while and letting your hands callous a little, also proper material handling helps. even with soft hands splinters are easily avoided by not running your hands along the wood like your shaking the your fist at the ex.

  • @Brandoskey Callous' are no guarantee mate. I know. No matter how careful you are, you will always get a splinter. You will only cut down the chance.

  • You probably spend 50 bucks just taking your wife or girlfriend to a movie. The Gorilla Gripper is extremely well-made, aircraft grade aluminum, thicker gauge than perhaps necessary, 3M rubber gripping pads line the gripping plates so it won't mar panels, built to last a lifetime & carrying a lifetime guaranty. There's nothing like it. Cut one dinner out & buy a Gorilla Gripper instead! It will save your back & serve you as long as you live. Then you can bequeath it to someone you care about!

  • If this thing was priced reasonably, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.... but come on, $50 bucks? Cut the price in half and maybe I'll bite.

  • This thing rocks!

  • Girly men? How about any construction worker or DIY'er who values the condition of his spinal column. I'm betting that even Arnold S. would use the Gorilla Gripper if he were in the trades, moving heavy cumbersome sheet goods. There's a place for machismo, but not where the sanctity of the back is involved.

  • @jamesmarshallcole if you manually lift the sheet incorrectly as he did in the beginning of the video you could get some back issues. however properly lifting the sheet in a way that avoids bending down so far is not very difficult.

simply tilt the sheet up on one corner till you can reach about the half way point and let gravity level it out for you. less bending, less effort.

  • Id drop that off the roof the first day. plus its for girly men

  • Your first lift demonstration is incorrect. Former sheetrocker. Your back would be dead after 5 hours. You do not need this silly tool. Lift PROPERLY and smart. If you have to ask me what The proper way is, then you are obviously not in the trades!

  • Depends on how strong your grip is, but it's a good product regardless

  • I bought one. I'm 53 and busy doing woodwork. I can't throw those 3/4" sheets of plywood around like I used to!

    I love this tool.

  • nice invention has to help alot in construction

  • who would buy this.

  • cock boy

  • I was using mine yesterday showing a delivery driver and a trade manager. Being a cheeky Yorkshire man I got a little audience participation and they liked them. Hope youre doing well and the video looks good.

  • could this also be sued to hold a 12 ft 5/8 sheet of drywall

  • The answer is a definite 'yes'! As we all know those 12' drywall sheets are pretty heavy so you'll be lifting a lot of weight with one arm, but the Gorilla Gripper will easily grip and lift 200 pounds+.

  • yes i understand it can grip and hold that much but my main concern is because the sheet is so big and the gripper has a small grabbing area that it might break the sheet in half or damage the rock inside.

  • ya, but now you have to carry that thing around with you. now you have ONE free arm to work with instead of TWO.

  • Comment is appreciated. Problem easily solved with the use of the BucketBoss Meat Hook tool holder or the Bigg Lugg tool hook. These tool belt tool-holders work very handily to hold the Gorilla Gripper.

Jim Cole, President, Landon Innovations LLC, creator & manufacturer of the Gorilla Gripper.

  • ya, but now you have to wear this bucketboss meat hook tool holder apperatus thing that is going to weigh you down when the whole time you could have used your arms...you know the ones that are already attached to your shoulders. take care.

  • I get the sarcasm & your resistence, but the comment we hear most from people when they are introduced to the Gorilla Gripper is, "Wow, great tool. I wish I had owned one before I injured my back! Try one; you'll appreciate the difference.

  • Nice tool, don't mind that idiot, some people just aren't happy unless they're constantly griping about something, I bet the man who invented this tool will never have to work again-probably made millions, I bet they sell like hot cakes, I want one for my house and truck!

  • im es buyin one for christmas for me daddie

  • Great Idea!!!

  • Way better demonstration than the commercial with the hot girl. This one actually shows how useful the thing is. The other one just shows that actors need more exercise.

  • lol

  • If anybody wants to buy me a present, I'll take one of these.

  • im so getting 1
