  • not a death trap at all. the doors got separated (didn't engage the clutch with the pick-up rollers), Happens all the time

  • That's why it's broken, you moron. Herp-a-derp.

  • the hoistway interlocks are jumped out...

  • It would've been awesome if it went down and then you could see inside the shaft! And this video is awesome!

  • Dude, I would worry more about getting a speech therapist!

  • see dat lol

  • Companies: They may be cheaper, but DO NOT MODERNIZE BY SCHINDLER!

  • And the door closes

    What??!!??

    XD LOL

  • Bad elevator isn't you know that's happen?

  • Bad elevator, because is slide door was broken!!! That how riding that elevator to used them??? Some people who want try get riding by elevator, but there being stopping working. Because they guess like a broken doors are loss something edge inside doors??? Might be elevator service needs fix-it them if they happen elevator has problems!

  • Hope you don't get stuck in the elevator

  • It would be funny if Josephine Joseph trapped Hercules in there

  • Hell the whacked door trip.... Doors was broken!!!

  • WTF OH HELL NO

  • I think when someone was stuck inthere I think the Fire Deparment had to brake the doors i think. But I never see that before. The Schinlder Repir Men Has to come to put the hositwasy doors. When you had press the button, the elevator doors did not open so this wired I never see a Schindler elevator like. Luckly you did get stuck inside.

  • @nikivasquez Firemen Don't break down the elevator doors, they use a drop key to access the shaft and the elevator car.

  • @cannycart Most Firemen dont brake the doors they just use the key to open it.

  • @nikivasquez That is what I just said.

  • Oh wow. I remember riding in an elevator with the opposite problem when I was younger. The downstairs outer doors wouldn't OPEN. I discovered that when I was (unfortunately) injured and had to take the elevator. The upstairs doors opened perfectly, but when I reached the bottom, the inner doors opened but the outer ones didn't. I was trapped for a good 5-10 minutes before someone finally let me out. Making matters worse, I really had to pee while I was stuck. It was an epic fail. xD

  • Kira1106, try to press G, when you are at froor 2. then go out from elevator and maeby it goes down and you can see elevators "roof".

  • @EcoDiscElevators, That will not work because the interlock on the landing door must be made in order for the elevator to move. To do what you are saying he would need a device that elevator mechanics use called an MO tool, which bypasses the contacts on the interlock and allows the elevator to move.

  • @EcoDiscElevators You right. If the elevator went down, you would be able to see the top of the elevator cab.

  • The doors clutch is just broken. That is actually very cool, since you can see the door mechanisms. You could have pulled the landing door shut.

  • That what could be happens!!!!

  • Andrew was alle laatste persoon die lift gebruikte voor dat hij naar de Filistijnen ging.

  • Only a Schindler Hydro....

  • @georgef551 That is not a Schindler flaw. 330A elevators use ECI door equipment, therefore it is ECI's fault for the faulty clutch. Learn who you are criticizing before you criticize the wrong person.

  • @suzzex

....and WHO installed the ECI equipment?

  • @georgef551 According to the label Schindler :P

My point is before you make a general statement like that, get all of the facts crystal clear.

  • @georgef551 Plus, Schindler had to have installed the clutch properly, otherwise it would of failed its first inspection, which is right before it is opened to the public.

  • @suzzex

Of course it must be proper, then maintenance takes over from there, and/or the quality of the parts.

  • Well how bad elevator was broken! Should call elevator engineering man needs upgraded elevator system & replace slide doors. What a faulty elevator Doors!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Although the door clutch safety is broken, it's not necessarity dangerous. The interlock will stop the elevator from moving in case any smartasses try to hold back the exterior doors.

  • Schindler quality at its best... lol. Epic fail!

  • @jtelev ECI quality... not Schindler quality...

  • the interlock bars that keep the inside and outside doors in sync fell off as it was going up to 2

  • :O

wow, I'm gonna have to go see that one tomorrow.
