  • thank you guys! I've been making raw burgers and this really helped

  • tons of salt O_O

  • wow great idea very exciting!

  • Yuuummmyy! Loved this video. Loving the budget friendly idea

  • Just came across your channel. This looks like such a good diet and we just got a new blender/juicer!!

  • Thank you -3 my moms going to start her juice fast tomorrow and this is just what I was looking for ! Indeed it's hard to find organic green here in AZ ! So again thank you!!

  • Please make morevideos like this!

  • OMG, this looks so delicious! I need to get me a better food processor first before making these. I look forward to trying this and the super power green juice. =) I can dig it! =)

  • This looks soooo delicious and healthy! Thanks for sharing!

  • I LOL when u say "am I Jesus"

    U2 are awsomw! U could b Jesus ;)

  • What i love about this recipe is that there is no dehydrating involved - it's very inventive - i've only seen the pulp reused in crackers up until now . more like this please :) love watching!

  • we had a "workout", hehehe

  • Can you still do it with with greens that aren't organic? Until our garden starts growing we only have access to minimum spray greens.

  • @Feelingbetterful

do the best you can! sometimes i think frozen organic might be better than pesticide fresh.

  • @daradubinet Yeah i agree, but we don't get any frozen organic greens in our stores :( Its okay, we will do with what we have, until our garden is established. Might do the sprout thing, because we have access to organic sprouts.

  • I really enjoyed this video. It's nice to see the energy between you guys too.

  • do you got any pumpkin recipes.. i bake it in the oven then put olive oil & homemade parmigian cheese on it..

  • @pbaffina

This is a raw food food vegan channel. This would imply no baking or dairy products such as cheese. Do you understand the paradigm here?

  • @Davidthemarathoner

i like that word "paradigm" perfect.

  • yes indeed love is the answer!

  • I am so glad you are showing us how to eat raw on a budget. this is going to help me a lot. produce is quite expensive where I live. nice burger recipe

  • @trixietrack

    :)

  • I was always wondering about the pulp & now I know. Those burgers look yummy & I will definitely be trying these yummy looking burgers for my self. You all are great & I love you for it. You have changed my life for the better & continue to bring light into my life & I Thank You for a new positive way of life filled with happiness & understanding.

  • This looks like a really great recipe!

  • Yes Dan that's all well and good - but do not forget that there are many parts of the state of California, where the 'working poor'/people of colour on low incomes live - with no access whatsoever to "wholefood markets", or even self-supporting food co-ops - all they may have are 'bodegas' run by other people of colour who are disrespectful or disdainful of their customer base i.e. Korean shop keeper and poor Black or Hispanic customer. So I pray that those people benefit from your "LifeLove"!!!

  • Thank you for commenting on the fact that not all parts of the country have all the co-ops, farmer markets. It is difficult to find some basic things like fresh basil, or Thai Chili-which I love. Please keep up the good work and know that you are being enjoyed and watched with LOVE!!! (I live in south Georgia and north Florida area)

  • Hi Dan (and Dara!),

HUGE thank you for the raw burger recipe. Juices in the morning leave me hungry within 2 - 3 hours, and this is so incredibly filling. I have a health condition which I thought I had expelled from my life last year after I started to eat raw. It's been back on/off, likely 'cuz I haven't been eating 90% raw. Yesterday, I couldn't eat 'cuz of the pain (the usual symptom). This morning: acupunture + green juice = noon burger that went down without any pain at all. Raw rocks!

  • Well... ARE YOU?

  • just had burger for lunch. WOW!! it was so good. I'm new to the raw scene and anemic so it makes for a challenge. I feel better already. I got a new feeling hard to say. but it feels GREAT :)

  • @moukur

wonderful news!!! love to hear this!! :)

  • Thank you so much for your videos, both Dara and Dan. I just discovered you this a.m. and I'm so inspired. I'm learning so much from the both of you. I want to transition to Raw and to be honest, it's isn't so easy in CT. We have to travel to Whole Foods and it would be a 40 min drive to a juice bar/RAW food cafe. So, I am starting today to make the subtle changes. I love fruits and veggies, so no problem there.....just need to get a juicer! Thanks again and keep the videos coming!

  • @woollyblue

yay, woollyblue! welcome to this fun world of raw food and juicing!

being at your very best is such a rush :) more to come!

  • @woollyblue

worth the effort at home. Samson makes a great one that juices everything AND wheatgrass. :)

  • Sometimes it's overwhelming as to what to eat or where to get ur food! It's sad bcuz it seems like we're fighting a losing battle! No Wholefoods is no good? So what do u do? Growing ur on food is impossible! At least for me....

  • @acenavarre1 Instead of the nuts, try blended bananas and dates w/ 32 oz of water.

  • Screw whole foods, they sold their soul to monsanto! Google monsanto if your not up on game.

  • Budget Burgers!!!!

  • Positive energy foods are powerful.Good vibrations.

  • Thanks so much for this So many of the vegan recipes are so heavy and use too much nuts and nut cheeses for me. We have great locally grown produce but not much organic. I have to drive to the next city for organics other than carrots. So I'm growing my own. This is a new idea. I'll try it. You are such a positive influence. Keep sharing Nikki

  • @nikki4612 Growing your own is the key to success on a raw foods diet IMO. Unless you are earning a living doing something raw foods related, such as counseling, speaking, etc, most people can't devote a proper percentage of their earnings to food and therefore do rather poorly on a raw foods diet because they simply aren't eating enough.

  • i'm a veggie but that burger atm is a little too raw for me !

  • We like it a lot! x

  • This looks good! yum yum! Thanks Dana and Dara! You guys are blessings to many. Gorgeous Dara has amazing gifts creating great tasting raw living recipes. My struggle with raw living food ...it can be expensive and im finding ways not to be wasteful, inexpensive, accessible with the raw living lifestyle. thanks again!

  • good recipes but never talk with food in your mouth

  • Yes!, WasWonderingHowCanIFindAWayToPutMyPulpToUse..ThnxAlotDan!

  • oh my god these look so good

  • Dara is lovely! But few people here on youtube (and irl) are as inspiring and good at talking as Dan McDonald!! What you do is more than just giving away recipes, you inspire to do so much more than to have a salad if you know what I mean. Stay in front of the camera man!!! Peace

  • I'm loving that you are putting up nut free recipes. I am not a a raw vegan yet but aspire to be. I have a wicked nut allergy,,so all the nut free recipes I am compiling.. Can this be done with just olive oil? I'm allergic to coconuts as well.

  • Love you guys. Those look SO GOOD!

  • Suggestion: Repost that last minute or so about your last thought as a separate video. I think it would be helpful to people and not everyone watches the end of such long videos and we wouldn't want to miss such an important message. Thanks.

  • @upcycle and @moz2007 It does make killer compost, but I may skip a day and try it budget burger style

  • Thanks Dan and thanks Dara. Dara...you have a lovely smile and joyous essence about you. Very nice presentation. Will try. I have to say about taking the small steps....I have watched Dan for a year and a half and simply added juicing to my daily life. Here is is 18 months later and those small steps have now moved me to add another raw meal a day. Who knew? It's a beautiful thing. I am a baby stepper!!!

  • LOL@ Are you jesus...

  • Hi Dan, this looks nice!

But I like a little chewiness in my food. Could this be put in a dehydrator for a bit to maybe dry it out some?

Also, instead of putting this on a piece of romaine, I think it would be nice to put this on a portabella mushroom.

Also, maybe if you'd use some sun-dried tomatoes + fresh tomatoes & herbs and spices in your Vitamix machine, you could create a type of 'ketchup'.

I think a burger like this would benefit from something like that.

    Be well!

  • @Novelwit2000 wonderful ideas! yes, dry it out in the sun or dehydrator. portabella will be gorgeous.

    have fun making them :)!

  • does dara have a channle?

  • @moz2007

    dara dubinet

  • I like this lady very much! <3

Thank you for the info :)

  • @SuperRawLove

    thank you! :)

  • @SuperRawLove

    thank you for watching! :)

    Dara

  • Is this Dan the mans girl friend. I hope so she seems nice.

  • Thankyou Dan,another great video.Dara I find your recipes inspiring and have always wondered about the leftover pulp apart from being assigned to the compost heap.I will definetly be trying this recipe and will continue on my lighter path illuminated by the help of you two wonderful souls! Sending much love to you both.

  • Love you Dara! You're a great role model for me :)

  • @lpsnowchic21

it is my pleasure! more sharing to come!

  • @lpsnowchic21

it is my pleasure! more sharing to come! :) Dara

  • Comment removed

  • these vid is just great....i was about 2 turn it off when i heard Dan saying just change one thing if u cant do more and now it is ringing in my ears all the time .....that was a great tip ...just change 1 thing ,1 step at the time 1 raw smoothie a day if u cant do more right now....I also really like that lady she has a great attitude probably just a pleasure to be near

thanks guys, please dont stop !!!!and please dont pay attention to idiots who do not understand the whole picture

  • the best advice hands down

  • Gotta try this recipe, I usually dehydrate and add soaked Nuts....

  • @greyfort7 hello fellow canadian .....where are you located...i am in ontario

  • where's krista????

  • Great idea! I don't like dehydrated, so thank you. I'm going to try these right away.

  • Danny boy

  • What kind of juicer did you use?

  • Wow I have to say this is my favorite vid yet. But I need one of those green juicers I just have one good for fruit. How much does one like that cost?

  • Dan, I don't even know where to start, I stumbled on one of your vids while looking for the new diet craze, i've been yo yo w/ my health/weight most of my adult life. Once I saw Ur video I was so intrigued, I coudnt get enough!! I watched tons of Ur vids I researched online, read books everything! That was a month ago, I've since gone about 75% raw and bought a juicer, the weight is falling off and it so spiritual and amazing! Thank you.

  • @mvambrose AWESOME! :D

  • @mvambrose

I had the same feeling about Dan's videos when I started watching. Although, I found it hard sticking to raw after couple of weeks, I still come back to Dan's videos and get re-inspired each time. Something about this man is so magnetic. :)

Does anyone else notice synchronicity when on raw food path? It happens to me all the time. They say the mind gets clearer and we notice these things better. But, seems to me there's more to it.

  • @mvambrose Way to go! So proud of you. Dan is an inspiration to us all. So glad for you. Just keep watching the videos. They are sooooo good...even the CRAZY ones!

  • Thank you Dan!

  • thanks for coming up with this. We have a garden and will have abundance, but here in Idaho getting organic vege's and fruit right now is super expensive!

    Cant wait until summer!

  • can you only use the pulp from green juices as fruit juices would be quite the same taste?

  • looks nice yummy

  • Love It, this recipee looks soooo good, thank you Dan & Dara ♥

  • woa a shirt... no way

  • she is soo amazing! i loved her vibes!!! Thanks dan for this wonderful recipee!

  • thank you guys

  • she is fucking hotttt

  • more calorie restriction promotion :( no matter what you eat raw or cooked you need to make sure you get enough cals or you are harming yor body

  • @totallyrawsometvshow Caloric Restriction has been proven to extend the lifespan. Besides she didn't say anything about caloric restriction, she just stated the longer you eat raw the less food you will need because its nutrient dense. Force feeding and binge eating has never been proven to extend longevity. If that is the case obese people should be the healthiest.

  • @brandonx19 did i say anything about force or binge eating? NO I said you need to make sure you get enough cals or it is harmful to teh body, harmful in many ways.

  • I loved the end of the video! I know my purpose is to help people be healthier, happier, and give them longer lives. :) Thanks Dan!

  • This freekin rocks!!! WOOT!

  • BUT DOES THE PULP STILL HAVE NUTRITIONAL VALUE OR IS IT JUST FIBER? CAUSE I THOUGHT ALL THE GOODNESS GETS EXTRACTED WITH THE JUICE!

  • i will try this...dara is a natural beauty and has such a peaceful, calm spirit.

  • AWESOME. i cant wait to use my pulp and try them. Can make budget meatballs too HE HE!!1 have FUN with it :)

love you guys. i can DIG it

  • Ok I am not all the way raw but I wonder how this would taste if you cook it just alittle bit!!!!! I wanna try it :).

  • my juice pulp travels the cycle of life . Compost for the veggie garden.

  • @BurnOneProductions That's where mine is going.

  • @BurnOneProductions So does mine. In fact it really makes the compost go!

  • looking good Dan. Thanks for vids.

Dara is great -i love how she sprinkles the salt

  • great video you guys am going to try it today thx.

  • I don't know, for some reason eating stuff mashed together makes me feel a little sicky. I couldn't stomach it :c I'll try again some other time! Ah, hopefully it won't be so hard to stomach.

  • I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes when she started to put the onions and the tomatoes on the burger. Truly beautiful. Such a great idea!

  • I'm really looking forward to trying this over the weekend. Been juicing everyday for months now as you can imagine, I go through alot of the pulp.

  • We already love you Dan - but America (and the world) has just fallen in love w/ Dara. You two are the power team. Love you both so much!

    xo - Penni

  • Hats Off To the Two of You :) Always Fresh and Very Inspiring. I'm So Glad To See So Many Subscribers. Positive Change On a Global Scale Baby !!! A Compass For Many, Keep It up !!! Cheers :)

  • awesome! <3

seems like you two make a good team :)

Dara's awesome too! hoping to hear some more of her budget-recipes

    Peace!

  • Adding the garlic seems like it would uplift the taste, as I've juiced that combo before. I'm gonna try that.

  • Awesome recipe! Keep 'em coming! Much gratitude!

  • I think everyone agrees. More Dara would make us very happy!

  • Would you reccomend dehydrating these burgers?

  • Good video! Dan, just wanted to let you know that when I clicked on your link;

RAW-HEALTH-STARTER-KIT , I was redirected to another raw food website. Your site came up for a second and then went somewhere else. You may already be aware of this but I wanted to let you know and keep your friends informed. It looks like someone is trying to steal your sales. I am in Dallas so it could be a regional thing but it is not letting me go to your site.

  • @eeeeeegadd Ther Raw Health Starter Kit is a program by Fred Patenuade. Dan recieves money if someone decides to buy the kit. No one is stealing anything. Dan still gets paid.

  • Loving Ms. Dara... More vids w/ Dara please!!!!!

  • Love the flowers on the stove and the bright, cheerful kitchen. Makes a big difference when you are preparing meals. Nice video and good advice.

  • Id put apickles on it but maybe thats not ninja style

  • Dan - Dara is so great. I love her positive energy and genuine love of life. She fits so well with your beliefs. Thanks for sharing.

  • thank you good idea

  • I was just wondering what to do with all of that! I felt guilty for tossing it into the compost thinking there had to be something to make with it.

  • The peonies are gorgeous. Of course, the burger looks wonderful as well. For those who still consume cooked foods, the pulp makes a great base for veggie nuggets as well.

  • Good Morning Dan and Dara :-)

Got to have my fix of Dan the Man every day... lol You inspire, your funny, your cool beans, and you make me want to better my self !!! I told my daughter in-law to watch your "youtube" videos. Maybe she'll be inspired like I am to get healthy. Have a beautiful day :-)

  • You guys need your own tv show.

  • Right up my ally, nice and light. Im loving the "gourmet" ninja, pretty plated food Dara has been contributing. I'm not into the heavy vegan "gourmet" either, Dan, so this one, and the horseradish burgers are right on!

  • Comment removed

  • love what you are doing, thanks dan & dara

  • Good idea for the pulp. Will try it next time.

Dan, when I send my love to Krista, I am not implying you should be together. I don't care what you do. I am just acknowledging her part in the launching of The Dan. I wish to validate her skills and her contribution to my favorite channel. Please forward my love and best wishes to LLK. May she enjoy peace and happiness in whatever she does.

  • This is a great idea and i'm loving Dara- thank you both for the great vibe and inspiration!

  • Does Dara have a you tube channel?

  • Great video! Hi Dara!! God bless you both

  • Dan, you are my daily therapy! I mean it. Thank you for what you do for all. Peace and Love.

  • Both of you have such good skin! Im sold on that alone!

  • Dara is chill.

  • Hi Dara!!!

  • Liking Dara

  • Btw, THANK YOU for a burger recipe without nuts! I usually make crackers with the pulp, but this would be a fun alternative. Looks like I'll have a nice start to next week!

  • Lol you're so adorable, Dan. "I don't care about managable (munch, munch, munch). I"m hungry. (munch, munch, munch). Mmm...I'm excited!"

  • How bout healthy meals on a budgie's budget?

  • great video dan and friend, loveing the use of pule, going to have to give it a go..keep on keepin on brotherx

  • are you jesus?

  • thanks!

  • You two make one delicious team!

  • Bravo for the great idea of making something out of the pulpe. Dara you are so sweet. Love this recipe. You guys have a great energy together. Much love to you guys, enjoy the day. Thank you so so much. (( hugs ))

  • thanks, this is a great recipe idea.

perhaps if you are juicing and do not want the pulp to eat you could compost the pulp for growing your own organic food instead of throwing in the bin : o

  • Budget burger rocks! Thank you Dan and Dara :) That burger made my mouth water :) This gives everyone a new reason to do juices :)

  • Your recipes and approach are getting too far beyond the average person's reach...I prefer the simple recipes, all these fancy things are no good for me; I live in Vietnam.

    And, I miss Krista.

  • Why is some coconut oil white and some clear? Are they different products?

  • @bluesdog88 When frozen it becomes white solid.

  • Dulse is 18 dollars a fucking pound. Not sure how much cost savings this is with that ingredient. Can we make the same with Dandelion greens? they are free.

  • MOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRR Budget awesomeness! Bro! Missed you for a while, Im back following man

  • Dan, I watched one of your extra videos on regenerate yourlife dot org and watched you drop something on the floor, then pick it up off the floor and put it in the blender.Five second rule mate lol

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for this!

    Blessings

  • I would love Dara to try my Pulp Burger..She will NOT need to add salt :)

  • Love the budget vids...does Dara have a website?

  • OMG a fiber brick LOL. This is intense!

  • Damn she's hot, intelligent and full of good vibes! Go Dan! :-)

  • You two really bring the love of healthy foods and life and your lives as well through the camera. I honesty can't imagine that burger tasting good, but maybe I just need to try it :) Sorry I thought she was your daughter in another video (her voice), because she clearly is a lovely, talented, inspiring woman. Glad to meet her! You both are obviously awesome people.. I may not "buy" everything, but to a degree I actually do. *Love* Julie.

  • Thank you for the great recipe. This video was very helpful!!

  • I like the Dan and Dara show :)

  • you two make my heart smile

  • Thank you Dan and Dara for a very very practical and delicious pulp recipe. It is concise and the vibes between you and she are positive. And thanks for putting a shirt on. It's a cleaner look. Keep up the good work.

  • Not only cool but useful! Just to say I love watching you juice stuff and talk at the same time Dan, it's therapeutic and motivating for me (I can visualise myself doing same one hour later, kind of thing) so don't stop that bit pls.....

  • From 12:00 really moved me (the budget helps me to help others with pulp as can be utilized - and people in different parts of states don't have compost piles). But what you said from 12:00 I can share with my niece. She looks to me to teach raw vegan. So many conflicting information want to research as much as I can for her. Still researching for her. This video is positive. Thank you Dan and Dara (not sure how to spell your name correctly).

  • My spinach is definitely saltier then your spinach, and you can taste it ANY day.
